TPC Scottsdale has earned a host of honors, including a spot among the top three Arizona golf facilities for service and among the "Top 50 Golf and Resort Destinations in the World," the latter by no less than Conde Nast Traveler.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale sits where the Desert Course did, but offers the thrills of golfing a new course, this one designed by architect Randy Heckenkemper, who did his best to fit the new golf course into the untouched desert land that surrounds it.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale rivals its better-known sibling golf course, the Stadium Course, with all the good looks and good golf one might expect in the Scottsdale area.

Pace of play was slow. Saw no ranger on course to correct problem. Course was dry and dusty. Got the feeling that they push groups through all day. Second time to play this course and will not be back.

Good track
I’m a local and haven’t played here in about 15+ years. It was a dog track back then. Course was in great shape, greens were fast, true, but a little firm. Only complaint, which can’t be fixed, is the proximity to Scottsdale airport.

Well worth it
This course is unreal. You get what you pay for. The greens roll true. The tee boxes are pristine and it offered unique challenge. The staff is friendly and the facilities, washrooms, etc are immaculate. The wildlife and views are also great. I’ll definitely be back.

Perfect day
Was a perfect day with my son. Excellent challenge and mix of holes. Actually like the course better than the stadium course even considering the stadium course was priced up there with Pebble Beach?
