TPC Scottsdale - The Champions Course

We teed off at 2:45, almost 8pm we were still held up behind people with the group behind us rushing us. Way too crowded and really only were able to play 16 holes before dark with a 2:45 tee time. Other than the longest game I’ve ever played everything was great.

For $100 a round nearing summer time, there was a lot of maintenance going on during game play. Quite a bit over priced.

Loved the course. It was in fine shape. I needed to have played a little more before attempting this one. The fairways were a little tight and the bunkers too deep and wide for my erratic swing. The course pro kept things moving along well and was friendly. I appreciate being paired up with a local player knowing the course layout.

The course was amazing and the staff was very helpful. Pace of play was just under 4hrs for us. We tee’d off at 6:39am in a Wednesday with 4 people.

Expected more. Minimal non course amenities. Poor stocked golf shop. Several Par 5’s were cart path only except there was no notification to this effect. Late in the hot day, couple of water containers were empty. Doubt I would play again.

The Champions course is great! Very well maintained and I would say moderate level difficulty. Scottsdale Airport is right next to it so small planes fly very low overhead; this is very cool but not distracting.

Course was in awesome condition. Greens were perfect. Layout can be tough so you definitely have to manage your game around this course. The scenery is awesome. Can see why many feel the champions course is superior to the stadium course.

Great golf course but slow play at 4 1/2 hours. Need to Marshall better

So pure. Great staff. Pace of play was great. No complaints.

Came here and played as a single. The group was very nice to play with. One local who’d played a bunch, so we had advice, and a couple other guys from outta state too.

A little narrow for those who don’t play every week. I only play once a month but had a great day (lucky day)! Played the same ball till the last hole...water is magnetic! Right in it off the tee box! Even in the heat it was a comfortable day of play.

Course is in amazing condition! Great job keeping everything green but not wet!

Just know that my rating would be much higher except for the fact that the course is in direct line of the local airport. You can expect lots of "LOW" incoming flights. Very noisy!

My husband and I played the Championship course. We were paired with another 2some whom where very nice and helpful. Course was in great shape, fast greens. We also ate lunch prior to at the bar/grill and the the was very good. Can’t wait to play it again when passing through

Not ce course but it’s hard to enjoy when you’re waiting on every hole

Enjoyed the layout and course conditions better than the more famous stadium. After playing both, enjoyed this one more and would return. Decent value for the money.

Had a great time playing this course. The fairways were smooth and the greens are pristine. Would love to go back again sometime.
