TPC Scottsdale - The Champions Course

Came down from Colorado to get a few rounds in and this was the nicest course that I played. Greens were in fantastic shape. Very quick but true. Rest of the course was also in great shape. Very fun layout and great practice facilities. Would definitely come back!

Great conditions, layout is not exciting. No elevation changes. Felt like a high end muni. Typical overpriced Scottsdale course.

The after 2pm rates make this a top choice. Played twice at 2:09pm, plenty of light to finish in just at 4 hour round. We will play here again!

Nice course. Challenging but not out of control. Great pace of play.

Came in to Phoenix to surprise my wife for her birthday, we play often back home in Kansas City. Let me tell you this course was fantastic, staff was great, WOW

Very good design and playing conditions. Fairways look wide from the tee but can be hard to hit (especially when windy). Challenging and a great value for the money.

Arrive for a Saturday tee time and all seems good. The previous reviews were good and especially the pace of play. The starter tells us the pace of play is 4 hours and 15 minutes. He was correct. At the 14 tee we had indeed reached the 4:15 mark! The players assistant??? was seen twice on the front nine and was gracious enough to wave at us. He was either smart enough or fearful as he did not show up on the back nine. The beverage girl was the best employee on the property as she apologized numerous times for the slow play. When we sent a message via the GPS unit for a players assistant to come out to 14, they sent a young man who was very gracious and apologetic, but had no reason or explanation as to what happened and certainly no solutions.

I get that it is peak season. I get that there will be slow play. But when you pay $850 for a foursome, have a miserable experience and are forced to leave the course on the 17th tee at the 5 hour mark to make it to a dinner reservation, management just does not care. Players cart numbers can be checked at the turn and monitored for slow play. Players assistants can alert people that they are behind or move them up a hole.

I have played over 70 courses in the Valley and never have I seen such disregard for the players and a total lack of professionalism from the staff. Monitoring play and showing respect for the players is nothing new in golf nor is it difficult. Not seeming to care is.

Not a difficult course, so fun for out of towner's. Worth the $140

The only reason I don't give this course 5 stars is that it's not the Waste Management tournament course. I didn't realize that there were two courses at TPC Scottsdale, si I just bookedmy tee time, only to find out when we'r arrived that we were booked across the street at the sister course.

The WM tournament course uds the Stadium course and the sister course is the Champions course. I sure wish Golf Now had a note to clarify this to people booking rounds. I flew from Atlanta to Phoenix only ti find out that I couldn't get on the course that I had hoped to play.

Got a good rate and played out here. Course is in great condition
