TPC Scottsdale - The Champions Course

When I made my tee time a couple months ago, the last thing I expected was to have a cart that couldn’t leave the cart path! One of our players had a pedometer and walked 3.65 miles! I have foot issues and was extremely disappointed by this. What good is a cart that you really don’’t use??? Also the greens were the slowest I have ever played in my life!! Terrible value!!!

Great layout, super condition but greens a bit slow. Staff were very friendly. A real treat to play.

Fairway and greens are the best I've come across on any course!

Solid late summer conditions. Played on a reduced rate of $69 which was a steal round took 3:30. Staff is excellent. Not a course I'd go out of my way to play but under $100 it's a quality option. Definitely not as stunning of views as similar priced courses in the vicinity at full rack bit it's a quality facility and course if you can get a good rate.

Friendly greeters took clubs set up carts, fast efficient. Starter friendly and informative. Excellent course conditions for September. Disappointed no ice at water cooler but beverage lady visited frequently and offered ice. Pace of play was great. Foursome in just over 4 hours. Will definitely be back, actually more enjoyable the the Stadium course

Great value for the cost during this time of the year (Sept). Course was in good shape even though it was 105 degrees. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Played the course September 2 and it was in great shape. 4 hour round and didn’t slow down until 14th hole. Facility is top notch and enjoyed everything about the experience. Would highly recommend.

Course is in amazing shape not just for summer but pure conditions throughout. Great staff! Will definitely play here again . I like the layout better than Stadium course.

Enjoyed the TPC Champions course for the first time It was well maintained both fairways and greens. Pace of play was great on the front nine, just a bit over 2 hrs, and then back nine slowed to over 2 and half hours. I’ll be playing this course again.

This course lived up to the hype. The grass was great. Pace of play was awesome. Finished the round in less than 4 hours. Summer rates were reasonable and comparable to other similar courses in the area. Greens were perfect.

The staff was very accommodating, the course, being a Pete Dye course Is an Engineering win, carving a course out of the desert, and the conditions were very well except for the speed of the greens. I believe they were not cut short to prevent them from scorching in the hot summer heat. It created somewhat of a bouncy, slow roll for puts. I would recommend a visit here any day of the week, but if you have a lot of stray shots, the carts will not go into the desert, so bring some extra balls! The course was fair, were very well designed, and my experience in Phoenix was all the more enhanced by golfing the Champions course.

Course was in great shape for this time

of year. Challenging, but fair. Pace of play was excellent, not many people out. Greens were in good shape, fairways solid. Only issue was that most of the water jugs were empty, which is not ideal when it’s nearly110 degrees outside.

I had a very enjoyable experience at The Champions course at TPC Scottsdale. The conditions were so far and above most golf course here in the summer and the staff was friendly and helpful. I even played half way decent! Great time and a great round. I’ll definitely be back.
