Muddy
Lovely layout although the green-to-tee distances are sometimes excessive. My ball got muddy on almost every hole. Tee boxes are hard. The place needs a lot of top dressing with sand. Pace was excellent. Greens were firm and challenging.
Average Course
Course was just OK. If you are traveling to the area there are better for the $$.
Challenging but fun
As a mid handicapper I found the course to be challenging but not impossible. Quite a bit of water, so hit em straight and have fun!

Overall a positive experience except the 2 persons that I played with.

Great Round
Teed off at10;30 and pace was great. Marshalls are nice and keep play moving. Course is in perfect shape.

New ownership
Our 4th didn’t show up for our 1:18 pm Friday tee time. (The last tee time of the day that should be able to finish) the pro shop refused to not charge us for the 4th tee time because the “tee sheet was full and they would have filled that time.” Even though there was a total of one group behind us (a twosome) left on the tee sheet for the entire day.
All of this followed by a 3 hour front nine due to a holiday ugly sweater scramble going on. Had to go back and play the front 9 again in order to finish 18 holes.
In a valley full of good options starfire has to be at the very bottom these days

Great Time
Really enjoyed this course. We got paired up with a couple that made it a lot of fun as well. The only drawback were the sandwiches at the turn weren’t all that. But the course was beautiful, we really enjoyed the round. Would come back in a heartbeat if we lived closer.

A decent “B” track.
A decent B track. I bit expensive for this type of course. The “Flash Deal” price was not a significant savings. The course club pass card is not really worth it.

Wonderful afternoon at Starfire
We really enjoyed our Starfire experience on December 3, 2024. Course was in excellent condition and the staff were fantastic. Only drawback was pace of play, which was slow due to a tournament on the course ahead of us.
Stayed for the end of happy hour on the patio and service was excellent there too!

A very nice golf course. Plenty of water holes but not too difficult. The fairways were tight, the rough was a little high, and the greens were about a 10 on the Stimp meter.
