Friendly and fun
Starfire is a nice golf course in great condition. We played in 4 hours
Great Condition
I play this course often and have always enjoyed how well maintained the course is and how well we are always treated by the staff. Plenty of challenge from the back tees but very playable for everyone from the right distance to suit your game.

Fun Course
I played in a tournament and had a great time. Course was in great shape with some challenging interesting holes. Pace of play for a tournament was very good.

Starfire King 18
The course was in great shape. The greens were very good and rolled true. It took a few holes to adjust for the firmness of the greens on the approach shots., just added to the challenge.

Great golf Experience

Excellent Condition
I played in a tournament today and the course was in fabulous condition. It had some excellent holes including 4 par threes over water. I would recommend this course to any group looking to play a tournament no matter the size of the group.

Terrible Pace of play
We have golfed this course three times in the past three weeks.
The latest pace of play was almost five hours, we had to wait with evert stroke.
Other rounds took 3 -3 1/2 hrs.
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy so much of your experience was exceptional.
However, we're sorry to see the pace of play was not up to your expectation. We take speed of play seriously and make sure our course marshals and starters are continually working with our golfers on their pace as you have experienced faster play at Starfire before.

Starfire GC
Course was in very good condition, however, the tee boxes were hard making it difficult to place tees. Would have been nice if the range and pro shop were open a bit earlier than half an hour before the early ted times. Not enough time for a good warm up. Had to rush it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great course to play.

Slow day at Starfire
We have played Starfire many times and really enjoy the overall experience. Unfortunately, today our tee time placed us behind a tournamen of some sortt. So we had a five-hour round.
Did our best to appreciate the course and the weather but waiting at the tee so long on every hole did not help my score! No rhythm to this round. But stuff happens. Other than pace of play it was a wonderful afternoon.

We take speed of play seriously and make sure our course marshals and starters are continually working with our golfers on their pace. It looks as though we missed an opportunity with an outside golf event, We will continue to improve.

Good but…
Worst tee boxes ever. Needed a mallet to get tees in ground.

Our maintenance team has a plan in place starting this month and through the summer to loosen those tee complexes up to make them more "tee receptive." Great experience
One of the best rounds I’ve had in a long time. Staff was over the top friendly and the marshals actually dealt with the slow play. Course was in great shape, good combination of challenging and friendly. Highly recommended.
