Fun quick course
While a bit bummed I wasn't aware the tee boxes were closed and temp tee boxes were about half way up. this course is always a good one to go to if you want a quick round or affordable option. I wouldn't compare it to the higher end courses but it's a great municipal styled course. it's as easy/hard as you make it but can virtually play from where ever the ball goes. The staff are extremely nice and professional
Terrible experience. Not forthcoming about course renovations
We did not find out until we went to the first tee that every tee box on the course was closed, greens were aerated and temp tee boxes on fairway. We were charged full rate and no apologies. Rude marshall all over us about pace of play and there were NO people behind us. Crazy. Stay away.

As you noticed, this summer we have an entire tee complex renovation scheduled for our King Course. We are leveling all the tees and resurfacing with 419 Bermuda grass. We are excited to have improved teeing grounds for our golfers starting late-summer. We train our staff to keep our guests informed on the temporary tees and any other conditions a golfer might need to know about. We also make sure the notices are posted for our online/GolfNow bookings.
We pride ourselves in having some of the friendliest and most welcoming staff in town. It sounds like we missed an opportunity with your group. We will continue to work with our team to ensure every golfer comes in contact with a welcoming friendly team member.

Poor conditions
We came from Northern AZ (over 2 hours) to play golf and go to a baseball game. Played Starfire before, and liked the course. All the tee boxes were under repair and temporary tees moved way far forward. Par 3's were a joke. Course in poor condition. Practice green closed. Maybe I missed this, but it would have been nice to know the conditions. We would have chosen another course.
Very disappointing round of golf.

Not a good time to play, even if it’s cheap
Course is using temp tee boxes that are half the holes length which is whatever but the course is in bad shape too. Wanted to just leave about half way through cause it got pointless. I’m sure it’s a great course when it’s all set up and full length but for now not too great

Course should not be open
Sent off on the executive course for 9 holes and then no tee boxes on the back nine. Paid for a full course and got to play half of one... kind of. They should've shut down until done.

Course is in terrible shape!!
Course is ALL riipped up! They should just close it while doing all these repairs.
If you weren't walking in muddy wet areas or water puddles .. you were walking in dirt !
