Pinnacle at Troon North Golf Club

Course has a great layout but lots of burned up grass in the fairway. Greens are in pretty good shape. The other negative for this is pace of play. Their standard pace is 4.5 hours, and our foursome was held up almost every hole today and we finished in about 4:50. Makes for a long round in 110 degree heat. We asked the Marshall midway through the round and he thought this pace was reasonable. Other than that, great course.

They told us in a email before we played about course conditions and it was a great help. The staff did whatever we needed before we went out. The course offered challenging tees for whatever handicap you were. The pace seemed a little slow but we were under 4 1/2 hours. One of the best things was having a ranger come out and offer cold wet towels, that were very much appreciated and a terrific gesture on the clubs part.

Only issue was some areas of bare ground on the course, not a lot but seems like I found most of them. Otherwise excellent course that very playable.

It is a really nice course with a nice layout. Some really nice views from the tee boxes. Wide fairways but if you venture into the tight naive areas consider it a lost ball. I played TPC Scottsdale on the same day and Troon North was a notch below.

Had so much fun. Unbelievable course and staff was the BEST EVER. Will come back for sure!!

I have been wanting to play troon for awhile now with all the great review about it. I was really disappointed in the course condition. We weren’t notified of the conditions until we were escorted out to hole one. He said the grass had burnt spots. That was an understatement. Missing grass patches throughout the whole courses fairways. The greens were in excellent condition, the course layout is nice. With all the hype and great reviews. This course fell well short of me paying $80 a round. I would save your money and play it when they get the course under control. Just played boulders course the week prior and it had a few bad spots for $80. Definitely was in a lot better condition. Very skeptical about the previous reviewers and how good the conditions were. This course was not in good condition overall.

Such an enjoyable golf course. Fairways were in great shape for the summer, greens were very firm and fast (which I personally prefer). Views were pretty good but the course had a really nice layout and offered a good challenge. Lots of wild animals running around; I even saw 3 deer on one hole! Definitely a course you must play if you are in the area.

very enjoyable in every way, would definitely play again. Pace was perfect, staff very friendly and fun factor was great at 6600 yards.

Excellent experience all around except for the pace of play, but that was because it was an outing. We only paid $65, so an excellent value at that price. Definitely hope to play again soon!

Fun course and I would say very challenging.

The greens had many ball marks. We were surprised for this caliber of a course.

We played Pinnacle at Troon North for $69. Cant pass that up. Everything and everyone was fantastic!!

This is one of the most beautiful courses we have played in Scottsdale, so make sure to bring your phone up to every tee box. This really is an unforgiving courses so make sure you hit it straight. Many green complexes are raised and there is desert and waste areas in front of it. It’s a must play, but honestly you will lose a ton of balls.
