About
The Talking Stick Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers two uniquely different courses that each offer many options according to your playing skill. The Piipaash course (previously known as South at Talking Stick Golf Club), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play than the O'odham Course (formerly known as North at Talking Stick Golf Club).
A round of golf on the Piipaash Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees. Three long par-5 holes ensures that power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards, the 1fourth measuring 541 and the 16th playing to 548. The round of golf concludes on a relatively shorter par 4 that measures 323 yards.
After a round of golf on the North Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club, head back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.

Great for the price
Course has a nice layout and is walkable. Ranger was very friendly and kept the pace of play going. The restaurant was average.
Talking stick
Greens had been recently aerated putting was difficult some greens fast others slow very inconsistent
Punched Greens
Course was fine, but I don’t like not knowing that greens have been recently punched. It’s not enjoyable putting on sand.

My expectation of the course and conditions were too high.
O’odham Course (North)
As the South course was closed (scheduled to reopen in 5 days) , we were directed to play the North course. All conditions were good, with fairways dry and greens able to hold a shot and putting fast and true. Areas in front of greens needed some TLC, causing issues on occasion. Sand traps were full; pace was good (3:40 for our threesome); as was value. Cold drinking water every other hole.
Golf
Wonderful course, good condition, pace of play excellent .. went to get a bite to eat at restaurant afterwards and told kitchen closed at 3pm .. it was literally 3:02 when we sat down .. we left .. big disappointment
Well kept course
I enjoyed this track. Warm day, course was green and well maintained. Recommend this course to all.
Nice Course and Quick Round
Easy check in. Range and practice green in good shape. Starter was very nice. Fairways very wide. Greens a little firm but smooth and consistent. Some bare areas around green that were aerated and being worked on. Overall excellent test and pleasure to play. Round in 3 1/2 hours, excellent.
Bring your water!
Pro shop team and the starters were awesome. However, on a heat advisory day, there was no water in the coolers every 4th hole. Maybe they filled them at the beginning of the day, buy they were all bone dry around 1pm. We only saw the beverage cart once, on the 10th hole. Luckily you pass by the club house after the 7th hole so you can buy some water, or whatever you like, after that. But, it was really rough for a few of the golfers to not have any water in the coolers. They should also throw some more shading for their employees out there because they were in really rough shape as we were pulling our carts in after our round.
