The Talking Stick Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers two uniquely different courses that each offer many options according to your playing skill. The Piipaash course (previously known as South at Talking Stick Golf Club), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play than the O'odham Course (formerly known as North at Talking Stick Golf Club).

A round of golf on the Piipaash Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees. Three long par-5 holes ensures that power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards, the 1fourth measuring 541 and the 16th playing to 548. The round of golf concludes on a relatively shorter par 4 that measures 323 yards.

After a round of golf on the North Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club, head back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.

Course was a good challenge and well maintained. Playing partners play there often so they knew where to hit and position. Green rolled true. Cart lady was exceptional and friendly. Pace of play was slow but playing partners made is fun day

Talking stick

Staff was horrible. Starter’s we’re down right rude. Water at the tee box was warm and tasted like plastic… not even close to enough beverage cart coverage… you can’t take your own cooler out ,,,,,, so they better start covering the course… it is Phoenix in summer time

They have been there long enough to know how to run a golf facility,

Or they just don’t care

Never go back and I’m live in Scottsdale all year around

Talking Stick: Worth the money for sure

Greens are like a pga tour course. Smooth and hardly any ball marks to be seen. Super happy I took a risk and played here today. One of my favorites up there with TPC.

Solid 18 holes on Piipaash. Great value!

The Piipaash 18 was a nice layout, and plenty of longer par 4s from the gold tee deck. Fairways and bunkers were all in decent shape (the waste bunker / wash away area on15 needs some help, bud besides that one), and the greens rolled true but we’re a bit hard and needed some watering. Pace of play was excellent as our threesome moved right along, and on a hot 95 degree day, cart refreshments appeared 3 times during our 18, and ice water coolers were available on every other tee box.

Great condition and no holdups but lack of drink carts

The course was in great condition and we rarely had to wait even a short time before teeing off at each hole. Only negative I can think was we only saw the food and drink cart twice in the round which would’ve been fine but the water coolers around the course were running out.
