Hillcrest Golf Club at Sun City West

We were trapped behind four older guys that started 30 minutes ahead of us. A normal four hour round was almost five. We waited 5 to ten minutes on 11 holes. No marshal. Saw him but he was parked on his phone. The group had at least three open holes ahead by the end of the day. Disappointed. 🤮

Great value for the money. A little crowded took over 5 hours to finish. Course was in decent shape..

The course is in decent shape and great for the price. Challenging course.

Tee box, Fairways and the greens were in great shape. We enjoy the hole round but the back 9 is or favorite

I played Hillcrest a couple of weeks ago and the fairways were a little thin. Just two weeks later and both the fairways and greens were in much better condition. The other players I was paired with were great! We had a lot of fun and we got done in less than 4 hours!

Overall a nice course, greens were good and the place of play was great!!

Only issue is the forward/red tee information on the card is very wrong.

States 5500 yards when it is only about 4700 (guessing)

Course was in terrible condition…hard to determine where carts were…this could be the best course in the area if money was spent getting it up to a respectable level…no doubt this course will fall to developers

Waited on every hole. There was a Marshall out and about. The coursed seemed to have too many players on it.

Greens were in good shape. Bunkers needed work, very hard and crusty.

We had a good day and will be back.

The greens were ok but the rest of the course was in horrible condition. I’ve played a few other Sun City West courses recently and gave them all a pretty big thumbs up. Hillcrest should be an embarrassment to Sun City West. For $62 some will say it’s inexpensive but I feel I overpaid by $40. Visually I felt I was playing golf in a landfill with some patches of green.
