Hillcrest Golf Club at Sun City West

Not much green on the course. Bare spots and hard packed dirt/sand covers much of the course. Hard to discern transition of greens to hard packed grass.

Course was in decent shape, sowed for our Tee Time starter sent us off early played in 3 1/2 hours course was in decent shape, for the value and want to play a decent course an not play 100$ definitely recommend

I like the course set up and play it every time I come down to Arizona. There are a few maintenance items that need attention, like Tee box signs missing and better markings to get you from green to the next tee. The greens are the best I have played in the valley this year with not playing $100+ dollars. The course is a lot busier than it was last year.

Great overall facility with nice driving range, putting and chipping areas. Loved the layout and the winds definitely added a challenge to the par 5s and long 4s. Some beautiful and holes and some tough ones as well. Fairways were overall good condition but anything off them was either very dead grass of dirt. I will play it again for sure.

it's a bit far to travel but worth saving some money. the course itself was both challenging and open.

T Time was 1030AM

Between pace of play and frost delay finished 18 holes at 415PM.

Totally unacceptable.

Rangers came and talked to our 4 some about pace of play while we had a team 125 yards ahead on the fairway and a team on the green ahead of them.

Some surprising breaks on the greens but a “feel good about your game course”.

The course layout is fine and the water makes it challenging. Also what makes it challenging are the first cut and other areas around each whole that are either hard dirt, or really wet dirt. These area play and aesthetically are quite shoddy / not maintained. Otherwise itnis a.fun track to play..

The course is in ok shape. Decent layout. Nice greens to putt on. Good course for the price.

Hillcrest course was a bit rough around the edges but fairways and greens were fine. Some very large sand traps but plenty of rakes around them. Tee boxes were good condition.

A Dusty dirty old golf course that needs lots of TLC. Started me on #10 when finished with back nine went over to #1 were their was 2 foursome waiting to tee off from their beginners golf school? They told me to replay the back nine if I didn't want to wait!!!??? I won't be back!!! Stay away from this dirty dust old course.

Unfortunately the course is dated. Some great challenging holes. Greens in Great shape. Will play it again if we get a deal on green fees but not worth full price fees.

Really like course design and friendliness of staff.

On scale of 1-10: Greens 10; Fairways 9; Tees 8; Cart Path 5 but Rustic. There was an over watering issue but the repair parts are on order. We enjoy playing here.
