Hillcrest Golf Club at Sun City West

This course has. History of hosting the LPGA. No longer. Course is not maintained well at all. Greens were in pretty good shape but that’s all. The tee boxes didn’t match the score card for yardage. There was nothing showing pin placement. The front nine didn’t have signs at the tee boxes. The one restroom had a door with the door knob falling off. It’s a shame. This could be a great course!

Played with another couple who were very friendly. Course is very consistent every time we play. Greens are always fun to putt. Good day!!

Trees have been neglected for years. So many dead trees that need to be cut down

Bathrooms in course were a mess. Handles falling off and backups in both.

I imagine this was a beautiful course at one time. It could be again with time and attention.

Had a friend come into town and this course had a hot deal on golf now that we booked. Rough was let go for sure. Fairway was ok if you hit straight. Greens were odd. Hitting up slope was a rocket, hitting down slope had brakes. Left to right seemed ok. Golf now hot deal and you're itching to hit balls, it's good deal for sure. Played from blues and shot 84. I'd play here again. Carts aren't bad. No GPS and they're gas which is nice so it doesn't stop you way before the green and stuff, but they are modern style chairs and storage area is more modern. Good course.

Not much green on the course. Bare spots and hard packed dirt/sand covers much of the course. Hard to discern transition of greens to hard packed grass.

Course was in decent shape, sowed for our Tee Time starter sent us off early played in 3 1/2 hours course was in decent shape, for the value and want to play a decent course an not play 100$ definitely recommend

I like the course set up and play it every time I come down to Arizona. There are a few maintenance items that need attention, like Tee box signs missing and better markings to get you from green to the next tee. The greens are the best I have played in the valley this year with not playing $100+ dollars. The course is a lot busier than it was last year.

Great overall facility with nice driving range, putting and chipping areas. Loved the layout and the winds definitely added a challenge to the par 5s and long 4s. Some beautiful and holes and some tough ones as well. Fairways were overall good condition but anything off them was either very dead grass of dirt. I will play it again for sure.

it's a bit far to travel but worth saving some money. the course itself was both challenging and open.

Between pace of play and frost delay finished 18 holes at 415PM.

Totally unacceptable.

Rangers came and talked to our 4 some about pace of play while we had a team 125 yards ahead on the fairway and a team on the green ahead of them.

Some surprising breaks on the greens but a “feel good about your game course”.

The course layout is fine and the water makes it challenging. Also what makes it challenging are the first cut and other areas around each whole that are either hard dirt, or really wet dirt. These area play and aesthetically are quite shoddy / not maintained. Otherwise itnis a.fun track to play..

The course is in ok shape. Decent layout. Nice greens to putt on. Good course for the price.

Hillcrest course was a bit rough around the edges but fairways and greens were fine. Some very large sand traps but plenty of rakes around them. Tee boxes were good condition.
