Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Walked

Good pace, decent conditions.

Walked the round (4th round there since January) and finished in 4 hours as the course was well marshaled. Tee boxes are a bit beat up from all the play but fairways, rough and greens all in decent shape. Front 9 is tight while the back opens up more. Last week played back first (which allowed me to get my accuracy dialed in) and shot better encountering less trouble on the tighter front 9.

HELP

I love this golf course and play it every year with my brother, dad and uncle. I scheduled four rounds through golf now in March 2026 in Phoenix. March 16th, 17th, 19th and what I thought was March 20th at Coyotes Lakes. But somehow that last rd got booked for February 20th. We were not there for that tee time on February 20th. I’m not sure how this happened and I’m sure it’s probably mostly my fault but is pthere anyone at golfnow now that can help me with this?

Large groups slowed the round

Great course, great staff! Large groups were let out, I saw a group of 6 and right behind them group of 9-10. Really nice course other than those large groups, slowed the day for many golfers.

Slowest golf you will ever play, terrible course management

It took nearly 5 hours to play a round here. We had to wait 10 minutes at every tee box. There's marshals all over and no one addressed the issue. 3-4 groups lined up on every hole and no one took care of the problem groups holding everyone up.

It's a shame cause its a great course design and well taken care of. Would've been an enjoyable round but my family filed a missing persons report by the time I got done.

Overbooked

This was supposed to be a late afternoon valentines outing with the wife. Booked at 2pm which should have left plenty of time to complete. Course was over booked and slow. Got off 20-25 minutes late that ultimately caused us to bail on the 17th due to darkness. A LOT of money for an incomplete and slow round. Overall not happy about it.

Not worth it.

From the start of the day. The club house was very rude and unfriendly. In the dining hall I saw the bartender filling the water station with an old 5gallon bucket. Don’t drink the water. The range is 100 yards max and they use foam golf balls don’t wast your money. Off the 1st tee there is no ranger so the pacing of players going out is slammed. You’ll have to wait on every hole. Keep looking for a different corse and save yourself 5 hours. Thank you.

Disappointed For The First Time

The hot deal tee-time followed the ladies golf league, so we teed off a little laterbthan expected. While the league moved along OK, we played behind 5-some. 5-somes should not be permitted on any golf course. It may not have been a 5-some, "IF" the course had a ranger.

6 hour rounds??

i understand the economy pretty well, but if you are going to charge 25-30% more for golf, i would expect my experience to be better, but a 5 hour round approaching 6 is totally unacceptable. paying $100 or about 25-30% above their usual fee, one would think they could afford to pay a ranger to keep things moving. the course is in decent shape, but i cannot golf, waiting 5-10 minutes between shots, holes backed up with 2 foursomes. i rest my case...sorry

Better Course Lay out then others in the area.

I very much enjoy the course layout - especially the back 8. The course is in pretty good condition - definitely worth playing.
