Coyote Lakes Golf Club

All 8 of us enjoyed playing this course. Not long but demanding. Green tee blocks were sometimes at the back end of tee box and not slot of room to stand. But overall everyone wants to play again next year.

The course is just amazing, every hole is so beautiful and the course is in amazing condition.

I strongly dislike when, for whatever reason, the pin setter decides to put most of the pins in extreme corners of the greens. Sure, no problem with a few tough pins but this was crazy. Front right corner, back right corner, front left corner, etc. A couple were impossible to putt and forget about trying to get an approach shot close. The round would have been a lot more enjoyable without this. The greens weren't the greatest to begin with. Anyway, the only other significant issue would be the tee boxes. From the gold tees, which seemed to get most of the play, there wasn't a level spot on any of them, the grass needed to be cut and there were many divots. Too bad because the course layout is very good and the overseeded fairways were great.

1)The entire course like in the first cut off the fairway the grass clippings were there still wet making it very difficult to hit and especially to find the golf ball in the regular rough.

2) the greens are full of divots. I know that is the responsibility of the players but maybe a sign can go up stipulating divots on greens must be repaired. Also the cups are not properly rolled, they are not even. I love playing the course it is usually always in great shape.

The course is alright for the price but we only got to play 9 holes after paying for 18. Our tee time was 120pm which gave us around 5 hours to get in 18 holes. We played the front nine in 3 hours! So we decided to call it quits since we wouldn’t make it and it was insanely slow. Saw the ranger once but he did nothing. We waited several minutes on EVERY SINGLE SHOT. Play at your own risk and you have nothing to do all day

Great layout, facility, and friendly staff. All of this but if you have anything to do the rest of the day, better rethink your plans. Had a 1:53 tee time, didn’t tee off until around 2:10. We didn’t finish. Played 16 in the dark. There is no urgency put into the pace of play, even with a ranger roaming the course. Great course conditions, especially this time of year. Would recommend spacing out the tee sheet to avoid so much congestion on the course.

During my visit, I noticed that the overseeded areas had grown in beautifully, giving the course a lush, vibrant appearance. The greens, while smooth and well-maintained, were a bit slower than usual, likely due to the recent overseeding process. Despite the slightly slower pace, the overall experience was fantastic. The course conditions made for an enjoyable round, and the attention to upkeep and maintenance was clear throughout the facility. I left feeling very satisfied with the visit and would definitely recommend the course to others looking for a pleasant day of golf.

The overseed came in great. Course was mowed down well and wasn’t muddy. Greens generally rolled smooth and were a little slow as expected due to just being a few days out of overseed closure. Lady in the shop and the guys outside were friendly as usual. Only downer was that #9 is playing from a temporary tee due to some kind of utility work. I’ll be back, I just hope they don’t get too carried away with pricing this winter. It’s an enjoyable course (especially for a short straight hitter) but not a $100+ one.

The course was just out of overseed and the grass came in really well. Tee to green the grass is thick and lush. They did a great job with the overseed transition. It was cart path only, which I hate, but that’s what is to be expected. Greens rolled a little slow since they were not being cut low yet, but should be terrific soon. Got a hot deal so was very worth the price coming out of overseed.

Great track for anyone. My son and I had a blast with the course. The conditions were outstanding. A shame they’re about to tear it up for over seeding.

Course was well maintained. Staff very friendly. Greens are a bit slow, but the course is green and well kept. Limited driving range.

Played with Ken from Cave Creek. I had no trouble keeping up with this very experienced golfer. He preferred this course Coyote Lakes because of the layout and price. The staff and the people in general.
