Coyote Lakes Golf Club
About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Fun and challenging
Coyote Lakes is a fun very tight precision type golf not a grip it and rip it course.
Beautiful golf holes and the landscape is wonderful,
6 hour rounds??
i understand the economy pretty well, but if you are going to charge 25-30% more for golf, i would expect my experience to be better, but a 5 hour round approaching 6 is totally unacceptable. paying $100 or about 25-30% above their usual fee, one would think they could afford to pay a ranger to keep things moving. the course is in decent shape, but i cannot golf, waiting 5-10 minutes between shots, holes backed up with 2 foursomes. i rest my case...sorry
Better Course Lay out then others in the area.
I very much enjoy the course layout - especially the back 8. The course is in pretty good condition - definitely worth playing.
Tina-Iowa
This course was a challenge with the slopes and hills. Course was beautiful very well taken care of. Facility was clean and the staff were very helpful and polite!
We played 36 holes with the reasonable replay rate.
This has become one of my favorite course in Arizona!
Nice course but WAY TOO BUSY
Played 5.5 hours and had to call it quits on the 16th hole. Every tee had at least 2 groups waiting to hit.
Love it but....
This is my favorite course when I visit AZ and say that because I've played it many times, know the course and truly enjoy it....but....wow, the 8 mins between groups on WM TPC Tournament weekend was beyond slow. 1 hr in, 3 holes played....it was perfect weather so we were patient but you throw in twosome out ahead of you with no golf etiquette....we were 4.5 hrs in finishing 14 when we gave up. They could have done better managing this one. Will be back but felt a Lil cheated
Nice course
Nice course and staff was great. $177 for a round of golf seems a bit much though. I’ve played courses just as nice for $90-$120 this time of the year here in Arizona. I will definitely play it again…in the summer when prices are lower 😉.
You can find somewhere better for the money
Best thing about this day was the Outside Staff, the Hole 10 starter, and the Bev cart woman… Horrible communication between shop staff and starters.. they double teed everyone off but no one knew where they were starting… course was in brutal condition, they allowed 8-somes to play together which we ran into at the turn. You can find better value somewhere else… it’s Arizona, there’s a million courses.
Nice tract, great staff.
Walked 18 and found the back nine better than the front in layout, terrain and difficulty. While short (6k yards from tips) and tight it is a challenge regardless.
Course in great shape with greens that bite and a little slow compared to others I’ve played recently (Legacy, Footbills, S Dunes, Estrella and Wigwam Gold).
Played in 3 1/2 hours and saw the Marshall 3 times during the round - beverage cart twice : )
Will be back.
Challenging and enjoyable
Beautiful view on each hole.
lots of wildlife to see as you play. challenging yet enjoyable for all levels. The greens will have you working on your putting.
Coyote Lakes - Definitely Worth Playing
I am a snow bird that comes down to the Phoenix area between January 15 to March 15. Coyote Lakes is one course I very much enjoy playing several times each year. This year the course is in really fine condition. I definitely recommend putting it on your list of courses to play when in the area.
slow as heck
slow as heck. also tried to charge for a reservation of our 4th who could not make the round even though we let the proshop know.
Golf trip
All 8 of us enjoyed playing this course. Not long but demanding. Green tee blocks were sometimes at the back end of tee box and not slot of room to stand. But overall everyone wants to play again next year.
