Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Fun course

Fun layout. Interesting and challenging layout. Fairways, greens, tees, rough, all in great shape. Bunkers a bit too firm. Pace ok for an afternoon round. Played in 4:05.

Terrific experience

Wonderful afternoon. Course is in great shape. Staff is friendly. Pace was a little slow but everyone was calm about it. Course length is right for the intermediate golfer, I’m a 10 handicap. This was the right course for me.

Not what I expected

It was ok. It is target desert golf which is alright . Traps were not good, small stones and not maintained well. The fairway, greens, and fringe were great! All were in all I enjoyed the course but would not return. Just too many other nicer courses in Arizona! (Btw the woman in the restaurant/snack bar is very nice!)

Nice course

This is the best course our group has played this winter. Greens: great shape and very consistent. Tough to putt in due to the hills on the greens.

Fairways: great shape

Rough: the rough had grass and it was even green.

Sand traps: very playable.

Staff: the pro shop staff was welcoming. Cart staff was fantastic. Friendly and helpful.

Driving range: waste of time hitting the funky balls. For a course like this, a regular driving range is a must. I would rather hit real balls into a net.

Pace of play: it was terrible! This put a damper on our day.

I would recommend this course but if pace of play is like this all the time, I would not play this course again

Old School course - good value.

Good value for the money. Girls at the turn were efficient in getting drinks and food ready. Teed off late and slightly slower round that expected but all in all decent experience.

Pace

This is a relatively inexpensive course. It’s an ok layout and course is in good condition. But they don’t Marshall it and pace of play sucks. 5 hour round.

Back 9 was beautiful

The front 9 was not in the best of shape and for the cost we were disappointed. But the back 9 made up for it. It was beautiful and in great shape.

The pace of play was really bad. I don’t know why but we waited every hole.

Excellent course

We really enjoyed this course! Course condition and pace of play were great considering it was Sunday during snowbird season. The food was good and the beverage cart girl was around 3-4 times during the round. She was very hot too! :). For the money this place is hard to beat. The only negative was the short driving range with plastic practice balls.

Fun course

The course was in good shape. It's a short course but it has many challenges to make up for It's length. Definitely would play it again.

Looking Good

The course continues to show a good level of maintenance even though it is seeing heavy play. Priced at the level that doesn’t discourage the regular golfer, many are turning to this course when other courses are pricing over 3 figures. Though the course is generally in good shape, the tee boxes were suffering from the heavy traffic. All in all, the course is an affordable track with a good level of play.
