About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Tough Driving From Back Tees
Played Jan 27, in sunny and mildly windy conditions. Due to the small driving range you have to warm up using light marshmallow balls that weren’t worth the cost of $3.50 per small bucket. Greens were slow and furry, very receptive, not severe and all in all very puttable. Course layout has a number slopping fairways, and although relatively short, the course has many demanding tee shots from the back tees. Fairways and tee boxes were not in not good shape and pace of play was a slow 4.75 hour round. Still we enjoyed our day,
Decent Track
Greens and fairways were in good winter shape. Some of the tee boxes were crowned or uneven making good tee shots a challenge at times. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice Course
Enjoyed the round. Marshall truly cared about slow play. He stopped to talk to us a few times. Overall, course is worth the money.
Pace of play
We stopped after hole 6 due to the amount of time we had to wait on every tee box and shot thereafter. Groups were packed in like sardines and no ranger to be found to assist with the pace of play. I’ve played this course for many years and would not recommend after this experience. The staff didn’t offer any concessions after I provided feedback. Not a great look for such a well established course and one that is located in a very competitive market for golf play opportunities.

I had an opportunity to get in one more round on Monday.
Glad I chose Coyote Lakes!

Everything about this course is excellent. And the staff is absolutely wonderful! Get a Coyote Card and save some money. Great deal.

Course is in great shape. Challenging holes. Plays above slope rating. Narrow. Hit ‘em straight!
