Coyote Lakes Golf Club
About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Best
This was the best round of golf I shot. The course was challenging but not too much, and it was very well kept
Rushed
It was a beautiful course, but we were rushed twice to keep pace with the golfers ahead of us. They really push that everyone must finish in 4 hours. I love golfing and for me it’s a chance to relax. I did not get to relax and enjoy myself here
Worth it.
You won’t have to mortgage the house to play this course for a season..
5 hr pace of play
Fun course, great staff, fast greens. Coyote lakes is worth the money we just got stuck behind some yahoos that backed up the front 9.
Liked the layout
Course was beat up on the front nine but in much better shape on the back nine. Playing from the proper tees makes a difference on this course especially the back nine
Pleasantly surprised and had a great afternoon!
I was visiting the Peoria area and needed to play a round of golf. I spent quite a bit of time on Google searching for a course that was less than $100 and had decent reviews. Coyote Lakes fit the bill, so I booked a tee time, and my afternoon definitely surpassed expectations.
The staff was super friendly, helpful and encouraging from the pro shop to the cart barn. Course was in perfect shape, although I was a little surprised at the greens being pretty slow, but in awesome health! Although this is a suburban desert course the fairways, and the greens are shaped to include plenty of undulations to make every shot interesting, but not to an irritating extent. The carts are equipped with GPS which certainly helped a first time visitor to the course. I also really appreciated the ice cold bottles of water included on the cart - very nice touch!
If I find myself looking for golf in Peoria again, I won't need to Google to tell me where to go, and I look forward to playing the course for a second time.
Slow greens
I always enjoy this course and this day was no exception. My only complaint was the speed of the greens, they were so slow!! They were in great shape and rolled true just uber slow.
Enjoyable Desert Layout
Nice layout. Appreciated the rock work. Short par 5’s are reachable in two. My only negative is the driving range balls are limited flight so only plan on using the driving range to loosen up.
It was "OK"
Nice course layout, condition was average, pace of play was right on 4 hours, value for the money was a little high.
1/12/22 Round
Fairways were fair. Greens just fair (bumpy). Cost vs. condition relative to other courses (eg Palm Valley, Hillcrest) made it rank low.
Book It Direct
I booked with GN and paid $80, the guy in the pro shop said if I booked directly I would have paid MUCH LESS!
Pace
Course layout was very intriguing. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape. The greens were furry but consistent. To be fair it was a Saturday afternoon at a value course so the place was absolutely packed. They didn’t have enough carts so we had to wait for a cart and went off 15 minutes late and then waited on every shot and were not able to finish our round.weekday play when it’s not as busy I would recommend this course. A lot of character to holes but just not worthy of afternoon round on a weekend.
This Is Where The Locals Play During Seasin
Great value, super course in great condition. Nothing more to say.
Nice playing, some longer holes. Water in play, on some holes.
Nice course
Pretty nice course, played as a single on Christmas day, the let me go off the back first, so I played in just over 2.5 hours!
It had rained a lot the day before, so the course was pretty wet, but it still played very fair, except the greens were a bit like velcro, had to hit it very firmly to get it to the hole.
Will play again next time in the area.
Would play again.
Nice place. Challenging, yet playable for novice players.

4 hours!?!? You understand this isn’t your personal course to leisure through, right? That means you struggle to finish holes in 13 minutes and 20 seconds. That is so rude. Learn to play before you come out in public.
