Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Quite after 10 holes. The wait was 15 at each tee box. Do not know how to tuna simple course in the middle of summer. Should have been given a refund. Many people were walking off. No ball washers or water.

Horrible

Good value, slow pace.

Too many newbies that slowed down play. Course was in okay shape. Price was very reasonable. Always enjoy the gps on carts and free bottles of water. I’ll be back again.

Marshall rush

The course & staff were great. The Course Marshall did try rushing us even though we were on the heels of the people in front of us until the 10th hole as we stopped for the restroom after the 9th. Nobody likes to feel rushed that’s all I am saying.

Same old Coyote Lakes. If you have all day and want cheap it’s a go.

We used to play here a lot years ago and it was always a fun course. The last several times I’ve tried there are a few things you can count on. 1. They don’t cut the fairways. They are green but just as long and patchy as the rough 2. It’s gonna be slow. Whether it’s because they over book tee times and the whole course is slow or because they don’t have a Marshall and one slow group decides to not let you pass, I just can’t get a quick round in here. On the up side it’s a fun little layout that will make you hit your target off the tee, the staff are very friendly, and it’s cheap. This has kept me trying to pop in for a afternoon round in the off season. But they are getting more spaced out due to the mentioned issues.

Good Value

Played with my wife. Pleasant experience in Proshop. Good layout. Shorter yardage course. Must keep it on the grass. Would not be a good course for someone who sprays the ball. Played in less than 4 hours despite being behind a slow but steady group ahead of us. Bonus was a included limited lunch at the end. Will definitely play this course again.

Slow Play

It was Saturday but the pace of play was brutal. 3 groups on many holes and waits on every shot. At the turn 3 groups waiting to tee off. My wait was about 25 minutes to play the back. Never did that before in 40 years. Staff was great, as usual.

Wasn’t impressed...

First time playing here, wasn’t expecting much from the talk around town. They were right, nothing special at all. It was probably a nice course back in the day, but has fallen on hard times. Just not a lot of attention from the maintenance staff or lack there of. It has potential, but probably not in th Ernest few years. It’s one of those courses for the people living on the course or the ones that just want to drink beer and hack around the course. It’s a $30 course. The best thing about it was the hot dog after the round. It was the first time for my neighbor also & we won’t be back...

First Time On Course

Tee time after noon. Played 18 in just over 3 hours with 2 friends. Course is in good condition. Greens are nice for this time of year. Greens have some tricky undulations. Makes for some 3 putts. Need to be accurate off the tee with some narrow fairways. Definitely will play again!

Solid 100%

The staff hands down solid!!! Customer Service always on point. You play a game of mental state and before you hit off tee box you get GREAT ENERGY FROM STAFF!! TONY & DAN. The course is beautiful. For the price. Can’t beat it. If you see low ratings it’s because most likely that individual lives a miserable life. Who knows. One downfall. If you play weekends go later afternoon: Tournament Play. Pace is kinda held back. Some of the regulars/ lack of respect to let you pass play.

Don't laugh at 6195 yds

I haven't played this course in quite sometime, but I still knew what to expect. For those of you who use yardage from the back tees as a gage whether to play a course or not, don't be fooled by the 6195. This course requires straight, straight and accurate tee shots...if you spray your driver, leave it in the bag. The fairways and greens were in great shape. Fairways offer many undulations requiring you to carefully select the right club for the second shot. Greens will drive you batty as there are subtle breaks and slopes that require your attention. Customer service is outstanding as my check in was quick and easy and outside services (yes, outside services in the middle of the Summer) personnel were overly accommodating as my ice chest required a refill at the turn and cleaned my clubs after the round. GPS is very helpful. I play 2 -3 a week, so this is not the best course (top 10 though) I have played this summer, but it is by far the best value.

Thumbs down. Although the GPS helps with shot selection, the sensor in the cart was a pain in the rear. Despite being just off the fairway (clearly in the rough), on two different occasions the cart shut down on me. Both times I was NEAR a staked hazard, but well within the playing area. Both times caused delay and little frustration.

Nice course

I really loved the lay out. It can be deceiving on length. Staff were great. Nice greens for the dry summer. I will definitely go back.
