Dell Urich at Randolph Golf Course

Love this course great layout and fun at winter prices you can afford.

Played Dell Urich course which was Reseeding so Cart Path Only but fun course to walk. Fairways getting green and lush, greens in great shape, new ownership has really cleaned up the place Lots of beautiful trees and wide fairways and some lovely views....yardage more women friendly than the
Randolph North course which is at the same site. We will definitely be playing there again.

This is my favorite course and a lot of old trees and very convenient to our house.

CP only but still played in 3.5 hrs. Best deal in Tucson (at the time)!!!

Tight course. Straight forward with few challenges. Thick grass around greens is tough. Glad my wife and I tried it.

We've played this course every now and then and this year, under new management, the course is a pleasure to play. Tees and greens as well as fairways are in good condition. If you haven't played there lately, give it a try!

We only played 9 holes...but paid for 18. The staff was understanding and courteous, but couldn't do anything about it. Our only options were: to tolerate the slow play, or to quit. We chose to quit. I don't have a solution...but this needs to be fixed. Respectfully, Gary Stanley

Course condition was fine but the Bermuda rough was horrible...deep and tough to impossible to get out of with just one stroke. If all fairness, though, it could be because they are preparing for reseeding and are letting it grow as matter of necessity for the reseeding. If not, then be sure to keep your shots on the fairways.

had not played Del Urich for awhile but the course is in very nice shape. The new management has purchased all new golf carts.

Considering all the rain Tucson has been subject to the last several days, course in good shape. Played tough because of humidity, heavy air, and no roll--several clubs longer than normal. Fairways very good as ball sat up, although little roll, few mud balls, but did not plug. In spite of rain, greens pretty firm. Greens slow, wiggly Bermuda but not bad. Traps not good. Also course pretty much deserted--finished in three hours.

I was pleasantly surprised overall. Was told I might be disappointed on the condition of the course. It wasn't that bad. If you weren't in the fairway, the rough was really thick and made it really tough to find any balls.

Del Urich is in great condition, play was fast, maybe due to light rain that was refreshing...nice attendants now carry your bag and clean your clubs, new carts :)

It was great playing with 4 other guys that play like I do. After 4 months of not playing it fun.

Bare spots that need attention. Sand traps need additional sand. Stay in the fairway, the rough is very thick. Your ball will settle in the rough which makes it hard to find and even harder to get out. I don't mind this as it's part of the game. This is just a heads-up to prepare potential players. It's a challenge. I really like the layout and variety of the holes. This was on the Dell Urich course, not Randolph North.

Labor Day Pace is understandable

Course conditions - recently under new management, it has regressed slightly: the greens were inconsistent and difficult to judge; there was way too much crabgrass in the fairways; the rough was punishingly long, it could have been just slightly shorter for recreational golfers to enjoy. It's time to put sand (not desert dirt) in the bunkers.

Course difficulty - Needs review: Though it's pretty open, it's slightly higher than a 115 slope from the white tees.

I would recommend a different course to friends.

The course would be much more enjoyable to the novice golfer if the rough were cut down a bit. the composition of the rough is very dense and difficult.

I always enjoy playing this course and have never really been dissappointed. The course is in great shape as far as the greens and fairways are concerned except, if you go off the fairway you will have a very hard time finding your ball because the rough is REALLY rough. I guess the mowers just can't keep up. There are parts of golf balls all over the place because the mowers can't see them in the rough and end up chopping them up. Other than that, it is a fun course.

Dell Urich has always been a great course. This time was a bit more challenging as the rough was rough ... about 3". Keeping it in the fairway was a must.
