Fun course and good conditions
Very friendly staff started the day off right. Front nine is in the valley floor and fairly flat, but some great holes. Back nine is where the elevation starts. The course was in great shape and well maintained..
Nice Course and nice layout
I always enjoy this course. It has a nice layout and some very interesting and fun holes. It could get an even higher rating if they watered it more. The greens and fairways are firm so you need to play towards the front of the greens.
Nice spring day
Starts off a very flat simple course, and then converts to a mountain course, and then a nice finish with challenging bunkers. Nice course.
a great day in the sun
just fun for a couple seniors(a expensive when one is retired)
Nice course but slow play.
Course was in good shape and played well. Very slow group in front of us that caused almost 3 hours on the back 9. This is a Club Corp. Course, but not well advertised.
Pristine
The fairways and greens were immaculate and especially impressive given that I played during the winter season. The front nine was target golf and rewarded you for proper placement. The back nine had beautiful elevation changes and it was a little more difficult than the front 9. I have played Spyglass hill, Spanish bay, Poppy Hills and course conditions here are on par with those tour level courses but I found this course more approachable and more enjoyable to play. It’s not quite as difficult as those courses but it will definitely keep you on your toes. A great round of golf and a perfect way to spend an afternoon in Carmel.
Carmel Valley Ranch
First class course with an excellent practice facility. Free pyramid of range balls to warm up with. Somewhat narrow target golf layout with beautiful views. Highly recommended!
Fantastic!
This is a great course. The fairways and greens are in perfect condition. The golf cart is state of the art. Very interesting course conditions with four holes in the Carmel Valley Hills which makes an interesting hazard in itself. The greensAre very challenging. I would highly recommend this course. It was a blast.
