Black Horse at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course

Good to see you’ve put sand in the bunkers though the sand type is mixed on Blackhorse (some fine white and some heavier local sand, a couple of bunkers even had both types)

You might think to just have the heavier local sand on BH and stay with the finer white sand on bayonet for consistency.

BH Greens were uncut and slow

Great layout on a beautiful course. Well maintained and beautiful lush fairways led to an amazing golfing experience. Truly enjoyed the pairing that I had along with the pace of play and overall great golf experience!!!

Must play for everyone! From the practice facil to the layout to the conditions and the amazing weather this time! Truly an exceptional round of golf and cant wait to play bayonet which I hear is more challenging! Kudos to the management team!

I am so lucky to have so many great choices in the Monterey area. But for the money nothing beats Blackhorse and Bayonet always in great condition and challenging to play. Tell me where you can go and have 2 totally different courses and great staff.

I really enjoy playing the courses at Bayonet Blackhorse. They are challenging but fair and in excellent condition. I'd play them again in a heartbeat.

This course was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. It was challenging but not impossible. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Big shout out to Jeremy in the pro shop. He’s genuinely an asset to this club.

Recommend. Fast greens very little bounce. Fast play.

I have played these two courses as many times great layout, challenging courses at a fair price. I would highly recommend to any avid golfer!

Black Horse was in the best condition I've ever seen before. We has an amazing day & enjoyed our Round. The weather was amazing so the views were sensational!
