Legacy Golf Club

All holes were unique, with water and sand everywhere. Greens were a good speed and fairly smooth. Important to play appropriate tees to make the round enjoyable and pace moving. Definitely will play again.

Tee box’s and fairways were in good condition for most part.Greens were good but a little slow.

Have played Legacy many times. Great layout. Brought friends who never played the course before and they had nothing but positive comments.

Had a great time playing this course, which is in very good condition and well taken care of. Holes and greens are challenging. Very enjoyable, will definitely plan again

Not exactly what I would consider a quality experience that one would find at a country club or even some of the better public courses. The people at the bag drop were useless and there is nobody coordinating the foursomes by the club house. You need to figure out that you need to go to the first tee to see who are playing with. All in all, this is a course that I will be in no hurry to go back to.

We play a different course each Saturday morning as a league. We have not been to Legacy GC in at least a year.

Legacy was in great shape and the whole experience was fantastic. The warm up facilities have every thing you need, including a pitching range.

The course is in great shape with the greens putting very true. Fairwarys were damp but dried out quickly.

The pace of play was a bit slow to start, but opened up after the first 2 holes. The short Par4 #2 is drivable, so a natural bottleneck. Otherwise the pace was very comfortable with our 10am tee time.

The whole experience was fantastic. They bundle breakfast, lunch and beer with the golf package. The service was cheerful and relaxed.

Hot breakfast, cold beer and receptive greens. Keep up the great work. I look forward to returning soon.

Super friendly people make sure you enjoy your visit to Legacy. Tough track since first timer. Will be back to hope for a birdie or two. Great value !

Pace of play was a problem. Management allowed 17 kids and instructors out on the course and rangers admitted they didn’t know if they were permitted to ask them to maintain pace. We had 4 groups backed up on 3 holes in a row. Also, 17 is a blind tee shot par 5. Management could help by putting a sign on each tee w distance to the fairway middle. Only has to be done once to help everyone for the next years. What says you management?

Thre course is okay. I like playing it. There's green's are hard and don't hold your approach shot. Our foursome was having a slowish front nine.When we turned to the tenth we found out that a foursome of women jumped in front of the twosome in front of us. This caused our round to go over 5 hours. Terrible! They were slow and the pro shop said they were members. No ranger and no cure.

Everything was perfect. Only negative: no showers at the ladies locker. But you can live with that :)

A very challenging upscale course.

Every hole presented a unique opportunity to challenge yourself against the elements. With very windy conditions and water on many holes made for a very interesting round. The greens were in great shape and the ball rolled true, no complaints whatsoever.

The staff were super friendly and I look forward to playing this track in the near future.

I had been in the Sarasota area playing all week as a single . My last round of the week was at Legacy . I had a flight out at 2:20 PM So I booked an early tee time . I arrived at first light and gave my name & tee time to the bag drop attendant , when he rudely stated he didn’t have the tee sheet yet .. So I went inside and paid for my round. .. When I went back outside he rudely told me again ( like it was my fault ) that he still didn’t have the tee sheet.

At this point I told him I would either be on the practice green or range . He assured me he would let me know when the other 3 players showed up. Five minutes before my tee time I went back to the bag drop and he told me they had left without me ,which was a lie because I play supper fast and didn’t catch up with another group until the back nine at which time that threesome told me they were 9 hiolers who had started on number 10 .. Also there was a second employee at the bag drop area who rudely told to “ just get playing”

The two men running the bag drop in the early morning ( first light ) on January 10 , 2020 are not an asset to your facility.

PS If I wanted to play alone , I would have gone to the driving range

A nice course with some wide fairways and some narrow. A lot of risk reward holes in keeping with Arnold Palmer course design. Too bad greens were sanded

Played here last year and the conditions have greatly improved. Fun track to play. The pace of play can slow down on the back 9 but overall a good golf experience.

Always a pleasure to play an Arnold Palmer designed course.

The first nine has generous landing areas off the tee that give you a good lie to go for the green.

The second nine takes more care off the tee to find the fairways guarded by forest and water or waste bunkers either side on most holes.

Well maintained course here, but come on people...fix your ball marks please ! ..show some respect for The King.

Played here twice and second time around makes we want to try it again, and again.

Follow the advice about how far your average driver carries to play the appropriate tees and you’ll enjoy The Legacy Course as it’ was designed to be enjoyed.

Really enjoy the layout at this course and the variety of different holes. It is a very playable course and rewards good ball placement. Greens are in great shape and putt true if you hit the correct line
