Legacy Golf Club

Typical housing development course. Was looking for a premium course, this is not a premium course. No GPS on the carts, strike one, no drink cart this week, strike two and three!

Could not of been happier, course layout is really nice. Some really nice holes, greens were perfect. Staff was great would play here again . Just wish signage was better to navigate course that's all a little confusing but not bad. Thanks for a great day Legacy

Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Got rained off after 17 unfortunately so didn’t get to play no 18.

The day started out very bad as the guy on the front desk could not be a golfer. Because we booked are tee time thru golf now we were told we could not go off early. They only had us and 1 other tee time booked from 11am to 1pm. he lied to us saying the other group was a 3 some like us,when it was a 4some. Then he said to talk to the starter. When the starter said to go he came out of the office and stopped us again. Legacy needs to hire people that know what they are doing and not discriminate golfnow customers.

Heard mixed reviews prior to playing. Course was in good shape, but not great. Loved the layout, price, and pace of play. Amenities were average.

This course clearly went through a renaissance and has been in great shape for the last couple years. Course today was in very good condition considering the time of season. I hope the owners and management keep it this way, as it has become my favorite course to play when staying in Sarasota.

Alas, there has been a lot of rain and it was CPO golf. The condition of the greens were excellent. This more than compensated for the mushy fairways. I’d definitely play again (when there has been a few days of dry weather).

The course was so wet my ball plugged on just about every fairway.. Greens were pretty dry so that was good. I would play here again if the price was right but too many other courses in the area that are better.

We have had a lot of rain lately, this course was in superb shape considering the amount of water that has been dumped on the area in the last month. Cant wait to play it in dry conditions as the rain made it play much longer than it was. Greens were in great shape as were the fairways.

this is a great course and we really loved it but today the course should have been closed as it was totally of waterlogged and impossible to play. we understand the requirement to have cart paths only but have lakes and rivers on the course and still ask people to pay good money for the privilege of using the course is just not fair

Nice course. Ranger was a bit short. Felt more like a child when being talked to by him, not appreciative.

The people who work at the golf course are great!! From the bag person's to the people at the check in and the wait staff!!

I play 2-3 times a week, and have always had a very good time. Aaron has been m y contact for group play, and has gone above and beyond to accommodate setting up our tee times, and making sure we are taken care of.

This is why I call Legacy "Home"!!

There was a lot of rain in the area prior to playing so it was cart path only and that’s understandable. The front nine had recently tbeen gotten atdiscounted therate. The tithe ccourse There’res was no cart service on the course Ana play was slow. The back nine was in better shape (greens). The sand traps were in bad shape

Played 2x last year and it was great. Overall the condition seems to be worse this time around. Club house and practice area are nice, but course fairways just ok. Was really wet but nothing can really be done about that. Just overall visibly this year in comparison to last it seems it has not been maintained as well. I will go play again probably but was a little disappointed.
