River Club is a popular Ron Garl-designed golf course famous for its unique moundings and positioning of grass and pot bunkers. Front nine are open with all elevated greens. River Club's back nine at are cut into the woods. There is water on 16 holes.

Greens slightly slower (though very healthy) than they could have been but otherwise very pleased.
Slow slow slow
We were supposed to play 18 holes but we got to the turn in 2 hours and 50 minutes. We had to wait at every hole. We stopped at 9 because it was brutal.
Solid Layout, Friendly Staff
Played here yesterday with some buddies. Course was backed up unfortunately. It’s a great layout. The greens were a little slow and hard to read. But it’s a great track with some amazing holes. Unfortunately left my lob wedge on the 5th hole, and we had the Friday afternoon group behind us so I’m hoping they have it…
Not a Good Value
The practice of cramming as many golfers on to the course as possible is at the heart of why I do not plan to return to the River Club. Sending groups off every seven minutes places three groups on a hole most of the time. The wait to tee off on #2 was nearly 20 minutes, as we were packed 4 deep awaiting our turn. The entire round took almost 6 hours! it is poor course management, of course, but exploiting the good will of golfers just to cash in on the demand of the season just doesn't feel good to this golfer.
Robb is the man
We arrived 30 minutes before our tee time and the bag service was on point . Came to the car and help us .
The greetings at the pro shop were even better ROBB IS THE MAN .
It was slow pace but the course was nice .
Diane helped us with some drinks on the course and Jill helped us at the bar

One of my favorite courses
It's in very good shape all around,...greens, bunkers, fairways, etc...the carts have course layout and distances, the cart path is not busted up...
I think this is a tuff course, which I also like (and hate....lol). Good landing spots...make sure u hit the safe areas or there will be trouble.
Better than expected
The reviews were pretty good so I thought I would check it out. A very pretty course, not easy, even from senior tees. It's in real good shape, the Greendale pretty true, med speed. Quite enjoyable.
Great Course
Loved playing here. The range had grass to hit off which was great for warming up and greens to hit into. The course had a fun layout and the greens on the course were rolling well and consistent.

We do no such thing. We have 8 minute tee times, not 7, and we cut off our tee sheet each day once play reaches a certain level. Many courses are sold out this time of year, as it is season. We have rangers on the course and we monitor play electronically and try to move everyone along the best we can.
First we are sorry you had a bad experience. We actually have 8 minute tee times and routinely cut off our tee sheets when we feel the golfer totals might lead to slow play. We are a family owned golf course with reasonable prices and friendly staff. It sells out daily as a result. We do the best we can to make people move faster, but as every golfer knows, it can be slow this tike of year.
