Course was fun and a good layout!

They’ve improved the course some over the last 5 years. Greens were quick but also had some damage.

Tee time was1:16, pace of play was extremely slow. Only finished 16 holes due to darkness and 92 minutes behind recommend pace per the cart GPS. Staff suggested we play the front twice due to the total course backup. Pace of play never improved and no action taken to correct the problem. Will not book this course again.

Played the course during Christmas time with my son and grandsons. Course was in great condition, staff friendly, enjoyed the course layout and degree of difficulty appropriate for family outings, with great value for money.

I’ve played this course many times over the years.

It’s a fun track and can be very challenging. I believe it slopes at 122 from the whites and 140ish from the blacks. So you have options if you are a low handicaper or beginner. Tee boxes need to be leveled but are in overall good condition for a public course. Greens are excellent although there are some spots that have plagued hole 1 and 2 for years. The greens aren’t rolled but aren’t shag carpet either. They roll nice. The practice green is not indicative of the speed you will see on the course, course greens are much slower. Fairways are above average for a public course. The course can be a little tight on the front but does have some wider fairways. If you hit it straight you will have fun. Greens are fairly guarded requiring purposeful misses or you will pay dearly. Carts have GPS and they have a range. The clubhouse is nothing special but a good hangout with the boys or girls to have a pint and collect your winnings. I play very early so can’t comment on pace of play. I think this place is one of the best values in the area.

The course was in excellent shape and the staff was courteous and professional!!

I have been playing The River Club for about 2-years now. Though not a member, I treat this course as my Home course, as I play there frequently, I enjoy the staff and like the challenge this course lays out for players. Kudos to the superintendent, greens keepers and the staff for providing a well kept course, despite the challenges Mother Nature can unleash.

have played in the past and stopped going as bad shape but this year best shape we've seen it. some patches on the greens but overall very nice.
