Nice atmosphere
Enjoyed coming back here a second time. The place is a relaxed atmosphere. The course layout is interesting with some very tough par 3’s (played from blue tees - 6400 yards)
Pace of play was a bit slow but at least the presence of marshals helps it a bit.
Will come back again when I am in town.
Nice layout
The course has a nice and fun layout. Fairways and greens were in good condition. After playing other courses in the area this course made us come back for a second round. Good value for your money.
Good value
Overall an enjoyable course. Only complaint is every time I play here it’s slow. Don’t expect to get done in four hours.

My Go-to course
The course is holding up well during the current dry spell and the busy play season. Always a pleasant round

Course was in great shape compared to others in this area at same price point. Great and helpful staff. 5 hr round to be expected at this time.
Nice course, especially for the $.
Everything is fine but the pace of play. Got behind two very slow couples who showed no interest in letting us through. I would just suggest they use a martial to move people along.
Great Value
I haven’t played this course in two years and I’m not sure why we waited. Really like the layout and I found the greens rolled really nice. They weren’t ridiculously fast like so many other courses. We played in 4.5 hours which is to be expected on a popular course. I would definitely play it again.
Good bang for the buck
The River Club has become my go to golf course in the Sarasota area. Great layout with challenging mounding and loads of bunkers, fairways and areas around greens over seeded with rye for nice lies, and competitive pricing that doesn’t make you feel like you’re getting taken.

Golf course is in good shape! Fairways have grass & greens are excellent(Very Tricky) The pace of play is slow due to overbooking🏌️♂️ Course gets behind on starting Tee Times. The Staff is congenial & definitely attempts to accommodate! The owners should be thankful for the STAFF they make a difference in your
golf experience ‼️

Started 30 minutes late. Very slow round. 5 hours. Lots of waiting which is no fun. Course in good shape and staff was great.
Pace of play was awful
Waited on every hole. Ranger did not seem to care that we were over 30 minutes behind. Only finished 13 holes in 4 hours.
