Course is in good shape
Greens are real nice
Fairways are in good shape
This is a fun couse, you'll like #16 the water green...don't let your approach shot intimidate you
Great course, reasonably priced
Living close to this course it is also the course I play most frequently.
Normally it takes 4.5 hrs but not this time. It’s getting close to low season and that is apparent. Finished the round in less than 4hrs.
Variation in the holes is great but also challenging.
The course is interesting, fair and well maintained. Staff is very friendly.
I enjoy the challenge of this course
I’m not a fan of the separate cart deal for the driving range. Seems kinda odd.
Course condition is good, greens a little slow for putting.
Driving range
We played the golf course several times and enjoyed it
The pace of play was very slow
Not to accept was the fee for the driving range balls.
16 US Dollars for a basket ball is really too much

We charge $12 for a large and $7 for a small bucket of range balls. Everyone loves the range. It’s beautiful.
PACE OF PLAY
Unfortunately the pace of play was the worst I have ever seen it, we were sitting for 20 min waiting for bottlenecking to sub due.
After 11 holes we called it quits. If your going to host a tournament, make sure to build in some empty slots in between so its not a cluster you know what.
Horrible planning and execution from the pros here.
5-some
Overall, great course
There was an allowed 5-some in front of us which created a slow pace. There were 2-3 holes open in front of them whereby a simple skip (of a hole for them) or let us play through or maybe not allow 5 players with 3 carts
Else, course was in great shape
Pluuuussshhh
Florida is dry but this course is ready for play. Rough was in good shape, greens were great. Tough little course, leave the driver in the bag. A great test of your game without being really long. Had a great time.

For amount of play this course gets it was in good shape!
For the price (especially thus time of year) you can't go wrong.
The only drawback was pace of play. At one point we were 10 minutes behind schedule and had to call the ranger.

Good local course to play on
Overall, A+ good layout, challenging course for your average golfer beverage cart service by Natalie is excellent. Finished 18 in a reasonable time couple of slow pace players, but not bad.
Rare Find in Sarasota
Great value for a Public course which is rare these days in Sarasota. Course has a lot of interesting holes highlighted by the Island Green 16th. Had to think your way around vs blasting away. Enough tee boxes to give variety depending on your handicap. Carts excellent and have GPS. NOT A WALKING COURSE. On line reservation easy and staff very friendly and professional. Will play it again. Had an early tee time so played a 4 hr. round...
