The River Club

I like both courses ran by these people. Two things I don't care for - 1] They will not let you take the cart out to the parking lot to get your clubs - that doesn't make any since [you can when you finish your round..??]

2] We played in the afternoon and their wasn't any cart girl and the snack shack was closed.[they check for coolers] - when you start the back nine you are not close to the clubhouse -so the beer you purchased is now hot.

Course has a nice layout. Good value for the money. Really wet when we played. Overall nice shape. Only issue is the greens are really slow!

Great course with plenty of water hazards

My only disappointment was the green were very slow but it was 2 weeks after the hurricane so staff were probably busy clearing fallen trees

Great experience end to end starting with great staff at every interaction: polite, professional and courteous. Unique and challenging course- tough in places with some fantastic fun holes.

I played on a weekday afternoon, and had the course almost to myself. It was hot out, but there were ample water stations along the way to help out. The course is in nice shape with plenty of grass on the fairways, and the greens rolling moderately fast. I enjoyed the round and it was a good value. I will be back soon.

Played off the blue tee’s which provide a testing course. Played many times over 30 years when visiting from England. The course has always had problems in the wet so more than pleasantly surprised despite all the recent rain the corse is holding up very well. A new owner has began to invest in the course and it shows since our last visit 4 years ago (not able to visit due to pandemic). Staff very friendly. Worth a visit if in the area and you want to play a decent course offering great value.

Bunkers were full of water. Tee boxes have poor drainage. GPS did not work. Pace of play was horrible.

Course was wet, cart path only, grass lush and green everywhere, front nine very scenic and challenging, back nine not quite so, driving range closed, slow foursomes in front on early Sunday morning, good value for the money.

We where surprised that a three groups of players where teeing off at nr 10 blocking our play we had to jump 3 holes

Only thing positive about this course is their 16th hole. Other than that I really don't want to revisit.
