The River Club

Don't play this course. They care more about the carts that won't allow u to get within 60 yards of a green, or close to traps or water. The cart quits working. Also, No ice, only at the club house and they give it out sparingly. The starter was rude and sent us off, knowing we would run into a league off the back. We had to play the front twice. When we mentioned it, he just shrug his shoulders. I won't go back.

Major drainage issues and repairs going on. Deep aerated greens with holes bigger than quarters, topped with layer of sand. Everyone just goes out as they please, not a single ranger on the course to enforce play. I picked up 5 beer cans on the front nine alone. Close the course and fix the issues, the summer traffic alone is compromising all efforts by the maintenance crew.

Don’t hit the fairway unless you like fried eggs. Awful drainage. Don’t play here until January.

Was at this course a few weeks ago and wasn’t in bad shape but boy has it gone down. All of the sand traps were under water so if you got in em you weren’t getting out. The fairways were extremely wet and flooded. Pace of play was absolutely horrendous and the starter whom was basically non existent and unfriendly to start you, so it was a free for all with pace, by 9 holes we were :50 behind pace. Didn’t see the ranger/starter until hole 18 after we skipped 4 holes due to pace. Will not be back.

Poor course management through the whole thing. Booked a 916 time and both us, and the tee time before us waited 40 minutes before playing to allow 8 walk one to play. Staff said they’re top notch players so we don’t have to worry. Course was in rough shape as well. Unfortunate experience the whole way through

Course was in good shape considering the amount of rain recently. Other players very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back!

Great course to play especially for the price, fairways were nice and greens were great. Only issue was being summer in Florida is when most courses aerate the greens and fairways so you can see the reminder of that on some holes but beautiful course. Challenging enough but not too bad where you want to quit or toss a club. Definitely will play again.

Course is in terrible shape. Greens and fairways burned out and the greens are like putting on gravel.

Very challenging, make sure to bring extra balls. Wish we had known they were working on the course before we booked. They were actually airating as we played. The greens had so much sand on them there was a rooster tail of sand when you putted. There was absolutely no roll on the fairways because of all the bits on them. Might need to wait until the end of the summer of 2022 for decent play. They are doing the required work on the course, I just wish they had told is when booking. This is as much the fault of Tee Off/ Golf Now as the River Club. We should get a discount for the booking fee.

Did not inform that the greens were just punched and un puttable. Tee times all jacked up just sending people out however they showed up instead of making sure pace was going to be set did a TON of waiting for no reason. Course is a mess, needs help. Staff is friendly and layout is awesome but bad shape

First time playing & we'll be back. Course was very quiet so we played along quickly. We didn't interact with many staff or use the grill or shop. Greens had been aerated so a few bumps were expected. Nice wide fairways!
