The River Club

We hadn’t played this course in several years. Decided to try it again. Glad we did. A number of nice holes. Conditions average for this time of year. Fairways soft, greens slow. Good pace of play <4 hours.

Enjoyed the round. Interesting layout. Greens were slow but ran true. Spoke to someone working there as he was changing a cup on a green and he said they had recently overseeded them so had not cut them or rolled them. Said they will be sped up now. Looks like they are working on bringing this course back to a good solid condition. Will definitely return. Great value.

Cash register attendant and ranger are very nice and friendly. Cart guy and so called starter are miserable. Good layout but greens are very slow and pace of play is slow.

The greens were smooth and fast, the fairways were in great shape. Starter and check in were welcoming and pleasant. Very good pace of play, we played a perfect 4 hours round and had a great time. They don’t allow outside drinks but the bar cart was available which made our round even better Thanks! We will try to get back here often.

Fantastic course - beautiful layout and well maintained – fairways and greens in great condition. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating from the bag drop to the pro shop to the the girls in the restaurant everyone was professional and personable, The girls in the restaurant furnished us with some water before our round. We were impressed to see the beverage cart several times during our round. The lady on the cart was fun and very helpful. The pace was good. Challenging but fair layout- loved the 16th hole! Well worth the price and we will definitely will play it again.

Tee boxes were in good shape most fairways were in good shape greens were in great shape they got new carts with a self-breaking assistance GPS. The staff was great right there to assist when needed even had a cot girl out there we'll go again

Decent course, nice staff and the price is right. Pace of play is a little slow but a fun course.

From beginning to end , very nice time on a good course with very pleasant surroundings.

Hats off to the grounds crew!!! Tee boxes to green, the course is impeccable! Rate it up there with University Park. Not quite as challenging. Best value in town. I’m looking forward to playing RCGC again!!!

Had a great round , driving range & course we’re in great shape considering Ian’s visit. A trip to the 19th hole was equally as enjoyable .

Teed off prior to the sun rising, which was different, but fine. A great layout and some very challenging holes.

There was some damage from the hurricane but it didn’t take away from beauty.

Greens were very slow but did run true.

The value exceeds many other courses in the area including the high end courses.

The best things I can say are: great value, very challenging, enjoyable to play.

I will play it again.
