The River Club

This is a really solid track for the money - the layout is interesting and there’s a lot of variety and challenge throughout. That said, the greens need a ton of work. If the greens were in better shape, it would take this course to the next level!

The layout of the course is fine but the course itself could use more care especially the greens.

It’s worth the play. 1.2 handicap index here and played from the tips and it was quite the challenge. Shot 73 with 4 birdies and 5 bogeys. I will say it’s in decent shape for a public golf course in this area. If you’re on the fence, give it a try. If you want pristine conditions then pay the money to play somewhere nicer. For the money, you won’t find a nicer course in this area.

Starter is unprofessional and just unfriendly in every way. My group of 8 used to golf here at minimum once a week but stopped because of him and solely him. We played here last week to give it another try and once again he was rude.

Solid course for the money, especially during snow bird season.Starter did a great job getting everyone off efficiently!

The Good: The layout was fun with tees for all levels. Fair mix, well bunkered and good variety of shapes.

The greens ranges from good shape to in desperate need of repair.

Beverage cart and halfway house available!

But this round took FIVE Hours and 20 mins. Our foursome included 2 w average golfers so we weren’t quick. We waited on 17/18 tees and every fairway.

Wildlife made the wait a little entertaining.
