The River Club

Love this course! I played on a Sunday afternoon at 2:44. The play was so slow, it took 2 hrs and 20 min to get to the 7th Tee! At that pace, I'd reach the 11 hole at 7pm.

Gave up on the 8th. No more Sundays for me. Most other times I've played, the pace was acceptable.

Only problem with the layout was that the clubhouse was distant from the turn.

Our carts were very difficult to steer.

I also disliike "nanny carts" that are GPS monitored, as if I don't know how to drive on a golf course.

Overall a good experience,, though. I'll play the course again.

Nice staff. Course was in better condition than last time we played. Good value and an enjoyable play, but round took 5 hours. They need some new carts too. Great that they have GPS, but carts are a bit beat up and hard to steer.

They use to bring a cart to your car when you parked and load your bags. Not anymore. Had to carry bags to the cart. Offered no help at all. You had to switch carts to use the driving range and then switch back to play. 5 hour round. No rangers. They came out on the 14 th hole and told us the pro shop was closing at 7pm and we would have to stop playing regardless of what hole we were on. The previous owner was awesome. The new owner is clueless. We felt like they were doing us a favor to pay to play there.

Course was just fine for the price. The thing that irritated me was being told to have the cart in at 7 when the sun didn’t set until 7:44 today. I’d understand if I was the only person on the course, but i wasn’t. I worked at a course for years and you just knew on a nice day, you were there until dark. So payed for 18 played 12 cause the cart guys wanted to go home on a Friday.

First time playing this course and really enjoyed it. Course condition was very nice and it is a fun layout. Very playable for the average hacker and the island green was a great touch. Pace of play was horrible on the front nine with 3 elderly ladies in front of us. Fortunately they only played nine, so the pace on the back nine was much faster. Overall I would look forward to playing this one again.

Fun course to play. Fairways & greens in good condition. Only drawback was 5 hour round.

The pace was slow, had people in front taking way too much time and people in the back who didn't want to wait. They also would not let us check in until 10 min before our scheduled tee-off.

Started early-- sold out and no cart out for drink or snack, dumb. they have a 1/2way house, no one there

The course was in beautiful shape. Staff was amazing !
