The River Club

Pace was slow common this time of year. Enjoyable round.

First time playing this course. Challenging layout. Pace of play was slow

We had a 1.32 booking and it took nearly 3 hours to do 9 holes, they cram too many golfers in, and made us feel bad because we booked through an agent. We could not finish the course because it was too dark. Do nit play after 1pm at latest unless you only want to play 15/16 holes.

The course is in very good condition though, but wouldn’t play again because of the wait on each and every hole.

I recently had the pleasure to play at the River Club which is located off of Route 70 in Bradenton. I found the course to be very challenging and quite beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the minute I dropped off my bag at the bag drop, till they greeted me at the end of the day to take my cart.

The course has a great driving range to warm up.

We played Our around in just about four hours and we were able to get some food at the halfway house. There was also a beverage cart that we saw several times while on the course.

After the round of golf we went into the restaurant and had some food and drinks. The staff iwas very friendly and attentive.

I highly recommend anyone in the area to give the River Club a try. It’s a great value for some really great golf.

Very pleased with the pace of play, the condition of the greens and fairways,. My new favorite course in the area. The layout has me using my full portfolio of clubs.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing the Preserve. The course was in good condition. Most importantly the staff was very professional and exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Owner made it quite clear from the beginning that he did not care for Golf Now golfers. Would not let the Golf Now golfers Check in or put their bags on the golf carts until 5 minutes before their tee time. Then when I complained about the inconvenience, told me I had an attitude. He was just waiting for a reason to have me thrown off the golf course. Would not recommend this golf course to any Golf Now members. Also,I would recommend Golf Now to terminate their relationship with this owner. It's my understanding that he also owns Greenfield Plantation and i have no doubt the treatment would be the same there. I will not book a tee time there to find out.. This is the first and last time I will book a tee time at either of this owners golf courses.

Challenging course and fun to play I recommend this course and the 19rh hole has good drinks and food for after. Also picked up pro v’s in the pro shop for $15

Well run course with great layout. Staff was excellent, kept us moving.

The course seemed to be in fairy good shape. We played in the afternoon but was still pretty busy probably because of a holiday week. So they were short on carts. We were a threesome and the started wanted to add a solo player to our group, which makes sense. But the solo player started arguing with the starter that he wanted his own cart because of Covid! We tried to tell him that we are all vaccinated and outside, but then he started yelling at us that we can't prove we are safe. Finally, the started just gave him his own cart even though they were short of carts. So we got stuck playing with this person and it was very uncomfortable! If it wasn't for this incident I would rate 5 stars. Also, the bartender working did not know how to make a simple Martini. If you ordered anything other than beer or a shot, it was not happening.

Guests like myself should be more patient and Nader standing with staff. I witnessed a man treat the starters very badly. I would have denied him access. But the staff accommodated the jerk with great apple. Oh yeah, don’t forget to tip these guys.

Slow, crowded, odd layout, mediocre conditions.

Barely saw a river but that’s no biggie.
