Quality check in and help with bags to cart. Started on time and finished in under four hours! Fairways and greens were excellent. Sand bunkers were inconsistent. Round was comfortable and enjoyable!

Fantastic condition. A year or so ago the course was struggling with conditions but good lord did they turn it around! Played Thursday at 9:08. Got around in 4 hours. Saw ranger at least 5 times and cart girl 4 times.

Played from the tips - tough lines off the tee. Can’t hit a stock fade every hole which is a nice challenge. They definitely cut some trees down because course felt more open than it had in the past. Fairways lush even without any rain for months. Greens soft but ran moderately fast and true.

Can’t wait to come back again. Left myself short sided a few times - course knowledge helps especially on approach shots.

Highly recommend - put the conditions up against Calusa, Azario and Rosedale. It’s on that level right now.

The course is great to practice strategy, some of the holes makes you think about every single shot before you even tee off. The couse is always in great conditions and well taken care of

This course was in such great condition, hard course but it’s so fun to just play with your friends. The greens were really nice, so were the fairways.

The staff here are amazing — super friendly, helpful, and always make you feel welcome. The course itself is beautiful and really kept. It’s always a great experience thanks to the awesome team and the great atmosphere!

This course is a fantastic ! The layout is amazing the course conditions are fantastic. The staff is outstanding. The driving range is grass and big and lots of targets. The putting green is great as well. They do a great deal on Mondays with the pro Tim and I would give it a try. Overall it is a 10 out of 10

I’m having a hard time rating this course overall because there were both positives and negatives. On the positive side, the course has great character and was in decent shape. However, the pace of play was extremely slow — our round took nearly 4.5 hours, and at several holes, multiple groups were waiting on the tee boxes. The biggest disappointment, though, was our interaction with the GM at the front desk. He was very rude and unwelcoming, which left a poor first impression. Someone with that attitude should not be the first person a paying customer encounters.

First, the price. For $35 or so for a noon tee time, I was skeptical on quality of course. Ive played dog tracks that charge $40+. This course was largely superb all around. The Eagles up in Odessa charges more than this course(I think double) and is, in my opinion, half the quality. The greens were tricky to figure out on the front, but likely because im bad and they offer a challenge, which is fun. Everyone that worked here that we interacted with was super friendly and super helpful. Water coolers throughout the course, cart service, and a "half way" snack shack with burgers/dogs/beverages. I can see why this course stays busy. If they keep providing this level of value and customer service, I will gladly drive the hour and 20 minutes to come back regularly. The layout is tight and challenging, but feels very rewarding when you play smart shots. Well done, keep up the good work

Everyone we encounter could not have been nicer. The course was fun to play and was in very good condition. Excellent value. We had lunch afterwards and I would also highly recommend. Great day

Showed up very early to our tee time hoping to get out a little early and saw that the course was jam packed. Sat in the bar waiting for what looked like a large outing or tournament go out, and the staff handled it smoothly. The lady in the bar was pleasant, the ProShop was informative, the bag guys were friendly and all had a smile on their face. We ended up going out right at our tee time, saw the ranger a couple times and saw the bevevwrage cart girl a few times. The course is one of a kind, hidden gem in the area. Will absolutely be back.

I don’t normally leave reviews but have to shout out River club. The staff are friendly, the course is kept in really good shape My group showed up pretty early hoping to get out early and saw they were jam packed. Sat in the bar waiting for a pretty big league or outing, which they seemed to handle smoothly and we went out right on our tee time. It was busy saw the ranger and beverage cart a few times each, everything was organized and moved along. Definitely one of the better run courses around. Hopefully they don’t go private

Golf course is usually in Great Condition, has an excellent layout, but this time the course was under water on just about every hole , was never briefed about playing Condition, and no beverage cart on a Holiday, poor management, about the playing day, but I will return to the course.

Poor service and we’ll never play here again as there are too many other nice courses in the area that treat their paying customers with dignity and respect.

If the staff is going to allow play on such a wet course the price should reflect the conditions. It was so muddy and wet you would loose your ball in the fairway. This is miserable conditions when you are trying to get a practice round in. The greens were not horrible but we were out before too many other players. The grounds crew were running wood chippers while you are swinging. Coolers are not allowed but there was no beverage cart. I don’t plan to go back anytime soon.
