About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Rye grass on Tees was cosmetic
The tees sucked! Fairways & Layout was above average, greens good, but please, very thin rye grass on tees was Very bad
Fun track
One of the better courses in the Jacksonville areas. Greens and fairways in good shape. Some tee’s could use a little help but overall the course is looking pretty good.

Bent Creek is in the best condition it has been in since before the greens were burned up a couple of years ago 😉

Hard to complain about Bent Creek. Just a few tee boxes need a little help. Greens and fairways are really good.

Fairways were in good shape but the greens had been sanded so putting was hit or miss literally.
Good practice range and chipping area. Reasonable price for the course.
