A pretty darn good test

Weather conditions were great, although it seemed we played into the wind on every hole - that's Dan Maples for you. Was able to keep it in the fairways for the most so I scored well, pin positions notwithstanding. Good layout.

Really dissappointed

I wanted to share my recent experience at Birkdale, as I believe feedback is important for improvement. I arrived for my tee time, only to find that it was overbooked and there was uncertainty about when I would actually get to play. While I appreciated the beautiful day, I was disappointed that several groups of three were allowed to tee off ahead of me, despite my reservation.

The starter was friendly, but I found the manager's demeanor to be quite unwelcoming. Unfortunately, the pace of play was extremely slow, and I had to leave after 9 holes due to the round would take over five hours.

I asked if there was any possibility of a discount since my original tee time was pushed back by an hour, but the manager seemed annoyed by my request.

Based on this experience, I would recommend considering other courses in the area. I hope my feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

Exactly. I waited over an hour from the booked tee time while watching them go out. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was purposely bad.

Greens better than Brandermill

Very wet conditions and the course played really well. The greens on the front were perfect and the back.a little beat up. Enjoyed the different tee boxes - I am a senior playing with long low handicap hitters and I was able to compete.

Well-balanced golf course

Coors layout as well balance with a couple of difficult holes and a few easy holes if you play them right. The course is always in acceptable playing conditions. Staff is friendly, prices reasonable

Birkdale is the hidden gem. Course is in fantastic shape. Greens are great condition. Staff is friendly and pleasant to deal with. They had the food & beverage cart out today, that's was a nice bonus. It's s nice layout with a bargain price. Highly recommend
