What Happened???
Having not played here in a long time I was really disappointed in the overall condition of the facility. Driving range was closed, greens were in sad shape and it looked as if they have done zero upkeep or upgrades of the dining/snack bar area. Overall, extremely disappointed considering this used to be a very nice place to play.
Greens where in poor shape for the price we paid to play..
I was disappointed to bring friends to this course for this price and conditions...
Great track,,but....
Love the layout of this course but the greens had been recently punched and a temporary green on the 3rd hole kinda ruins it for you. Also when we were checking in the group behind us asked what the going rate was and it was 5 dollars cheaper than our Golfnow price.
nice course
they had just airated the tee boxes so the were full of dirt. Greens were pretty good except for a few holes. Also found out discounted green fees are not eligble for rain checks!
Good course, good condition, but...
Good course, good condition. fairways were very nice and well maintained. However, the greens had recently been punched and sanded and hole number 3 green was in process of being rebuilt. Had to play to small temp green. These conditions here not listed on GolfNow nor did the clubhouse staff say anything when I checked in. There was no discount in greens fees. Combination of the two left me a little unsatisfied.
Nice Course for the money
Nice Course. Aerification was going on but we were aware of it. Other than that seemed to be well taken care of.
Not bad at a cheap price, but not worth full price.
This course is not bad at a discounted price, but it's regular price is way above its quality! Only so - so...
we had a great time and the staff made it a great day!
great condition! we were a party of 4 the play was great we were not pushed or did we run up on the group in front of us. the starter did a great job!
Great Course
Fun, Friendly, Well Maintained. The course was in good shape, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Great course for the money.
Always pleased with Windsor Parke. Fairways were excellent and most of the greens had a good role. Will definitely be back more often.
The course is in good condition but pace of pay was ridiculously slow.
I congratulate the maintenance crew for getting the course in the best condition I've seen in years however the pace of play, especially for a Thursday was ridiculous. There were 3 open holes in front of the group immediately ahead of us and the ranger never asked them to speed up or invited us to play through.
I like the layout.
Course is in better shape than when I played it last, still has some greens with spots of no grass. Overall fairways are good. Enjoyed the round.
Nice course. Narrow, lots of water and woods.
Have to hit it straight! Water and trees abound. Greens and fairways in good condition.
Great value for money
Some greens have damaged areas but overall they are in good shape. Fairways are cut nice.
Overpriced
I have been looking forward to playing Windsor and was able to play it last week. For the price, I was expecting a lot more. The greens were scathed, the grass on many of the tees was non existent, and many of the bunkers had inconsistencies in their sand. It just was not conditioned at all. It was a good layour and provided many tee options. The staff was first rate and it did give you that up-scale feal. But the course was in poor condition. Save your money and play elsewhere.
Rudest people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with
It's a true shame and disgrace that this place is even still around. The staff here was rude to the point that it turned my family off to the game of golf until we played the amazing TPC Sawgrass courses. The starters were condescending, and down right horrible. We received no help with our clubs and had to deal with them in the pouring rain while the staff watched us. It makes me sick to think this place is still in business. It is a disgrace to the game we all love so much.
course has good features, but the conditions of the greens very poor
pace of play was terrible, and the greens were just as bad
Great course, excellent value
I played as a single. have to book on GolfNow as a single. Cant do it at the course. Rented clubs ($35) Nike. Very interesting course. Had guide book which they charge $1.99 but if you are nice they will give it to you. Book is needed as there are hazards/water not seen from the tee or fairway. First time out this year. Found most of the water, most of the time. I am a mid 90's golfer. Warning: the last 4 holes are the "teeth " of the course.
I will definitely go back.
Note: the cart girl only carries beverages and bars no sandwiches. These can be gotten at the clubhouse on the turn.
first time on course
First time we played this course. Greens need a little attention but the fairways were challenging and in good shape.
Great Course
Overall, this was a pretty good course. The pace of play was good. The Marshall was riding around and making sure everyone was on schedule.
The front nine was not challenging at all. However, the back nine was pretty challenging. Nice bang for your money...

I played Windsor again on Friday and will say that after the Spring rains, the greens were in much better condition. Also, they are very friendly to juniors as they let my nephew play for free. Nice touch. The course is still way too expensive. But a drive out of east Jacksonville to less expensive course would cost $10 anyway. Long story short, Windsor has its pluses and minuses. Not a bad trek either way.
