18th Green at Queen's Harbour Photo submitted by mcstanley78 on 08/09/2013
Always a good spot
The course has been in exceptional shape the last few times I've played it. Seems like they've turned a corner. The layout is fun and challenging, but a few odd holes. My note to QHCC: please invest in new tee markers. Current ones are sun faded (and basic) that you can't tell the difference between gold and white or blue and black and green. Small investment, and this might speed play a little. Your cart paths could use some love, too.
Great value for the price
One of the better courses I’ve played for under $100. Course was in Great shape
Good shape
Greens were great. All the course was in good shape. Not sure why the front and back were swapped. Seems odd because where the range and putting green are.
Course is Nice, not great, but nice.
Everything is in good shape. The greens are slow and not the best but definitely not bad. Everything here is good enough, but if it was just a little more well kept it would be a great course. The greens are very severely sloped and not very fast.
Challenging course
Greens were in decent shape (no bare spots). They were however not looking the best due to maintenance practices, scalped from mowers, cup plugs too high and scalped. Some thinning areas where the ball didn’t track the best. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. In my opinion the course is challenging and how tight it is with water and all the houses. Hole 17 and 18 is a bit dangerous with proximity to the driving range.
Nice layout
The golf course is a nice layout and I generally good shape. The only complaint is the greens are a little slow.
Always Great Condition
Great course. They moved Hole 1 to Hole 10 permanently and did great job changing all Hole markers and scorecard. Fairways were carpets, rough was tougher to club.
Always in good condition and great staff
Always a great challenging course that’s always in great shape. Pro shop staff and beverage staff are top notch.
Value
The course is in great condition and an excellent value
Here's to the Queen
The course was/is in good shape. Greens are particularly good. Fairways are full. If you have played here recently you know the fairways are very fair. The rough has grown up as we have had a good deal of rain and sunshine. Hit 'em straight and have fun. Cheers!
Weekend round
The greens are coming around after being punched about three weeks ago. The recent rain has helped with the overall conditions of the fairways and rough. Always a good choice with a hot deal.
Rain out
Unfortunately we were unable to play due to the course being temporarily shut down due to a torrential downpour. I've played this course numerous times and would rate it in the top 10 courses I've played. If only I could get a refund from GolfNow, I'd book this course again.
Seen it in better shape
The course layout is excellent. From tee to green very dry with lack of rain. Aerated 2 weeks ago so greens were very rough. Needs some real work to catch up with the beautiful neighborhood.
Enjoyable day
Course is in early spring conditions.greens had been punched recently but very playable. Fairways are filling in for your shots to the greens. Have a good day, cheers!
