Kissimmee Bay Country Club

First time playing this course. It’s a nice layout. The day we played was extremely wet and muddy conditions. So it left us picking up our balks and placing them in drier areas. But overall it is definitely a course we will play again. It does need some maintenance on a few greens. They were playable.

Always enjoy playing here, it’s unfortunate the maintenance crew is understaffed. This staff maintains two 18 hole courses with (from what I can tell) less than a dozen workers. This deficit definitely leaves problem areas (bunkers need trimmed, tee boxes could use freshening); the staff is spread too thin.

The course was in very good condition! Greens rolling around a 10!

The course does have some interesting holes but overall it needs some additional work and trimming.

lovely course with plenty of nature to see ,course was wet time of year i think with probably the first 4 holes the worst but the further we went the course got better and better enjoyed it and managed a few beers at the clubhouse which was well stocked definitely worth a visit

Greens...very good

Traps...poor

Fairway...ok...

Tee boxes...fair

In summary:

Tee boxes were not maintained;

Fairways were boggy and not cut;

Greens must have been the slowest I’ve played, making putting impossible;

No sand in the bunkers;

Poor routing;

With some care and proper maintenance it could be decent…but in its current state, it is awful.

Yesterday I went back to my roots and played Kissimmee Bay. What an experience. The price was right 42.00 dollars. The greens were in great shape with only one with some patches. The ball rolled pretty good with no bumps. The fairways were pretty good and the tees as well. The maintenance team is bringing back the golf course the way it should be. You cannot go wrong. Last but not the least, I played in only 31/2 hours.

Had a great 9 holes before the rain scared me away. Staff is super friendly, the wife likes to come along and just hang out and they had no problem letting us enjoy the day. The gentleman at the carts was very friendly and told me all about the course. The young man at the pro shop took good care of us and Jen in the lounge area was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Course could be absolutely amazing with some manicure but the layout was great and the greens were just fine. Love it see you soon!
