Disney's Magnolia Golf Course

This course was in excellent condition. Greens run true and fairways plush.

Enjoyed the round even though the course was pretty wet after lots of rain recently. Really nice homes surrounding the course and only a few holes were cart path only.

The course was very wet from overnight rain. Cart path only which was understandable given the conditions but it certainly takes some of the enjoyment out of the round and slows down play.

A nice course. Greens were very slow. Layout is good.

It's a common complaint for me on Disney courses, but i really wish you had some combo tees, to give Lady golfers a choice of tee beds.

On Palm, LBV and Magnolia, the front tees are between 5100 to 5200 and the next tee bed is around 6000 yards. You then have 3 or 4 tee beds at 4-5 hundred yard intervals.

Basically the guys have a choice of 4 or 5 tee beds at 400-500 yard intervals, and the Ladies have 1, as 6000 yards is too far for most Ladies.

The course is only 14 holes right now as the last 4 holes are being renovated. Carts have GPS and when I played the greens were super fast but the whole course was in great condition. A bonus was the beers were reasonable at $5 each or 6 for $25.

Played here during our vacation. Rented clubs, they carry taylormade stealth sets. Course over all was fun. Conditions were perfect pace was amazing. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Not ready for a full review with half the course. It's hard to rate a course that has the last 4 holes UC. (Under Construction) and not to be advised before making a reservation and paying full price for it. Finding out right when you check in.

What option would you have? Leave. Drive back or play 14 holes. At least I shot my best score!

A great course with first rate staff. Greens a little slow. Heavy rain the previous evening, left some wet fairways and cart path only. Great layout.

We had a great time! Staff was friendly and attentive! They let us play 18 on a slow Saturday! Shout out to Bernard and Micheal for letting us play! Special shout out to Ken as well for being so kindhearted! We will definitely be back!

Course only has 14 holes open. There was nothing posted and we were not informed of this until check in. No offer to let us play a different course, not even a mention of discount or refund. Should have at least offered another option.

Loved all the great names of the holes and beautiful signage at each hole. GPS in the carts was amazingly there to lead the way. Use extra towel to dip in ice bucket and stay cool!

First played it about 10 years ago, and like all things Disney, Magnolia is a great experience. However, we only played 14 holes due to four getting renovated. Always fun to play a former PGA stop, though. Probably a little pricey but you pay for the Disney “magic” experience.

Was a fun day on the course and it was in pretty good shape, especially since it is about to be closed for a little while. Didn’t really remember that many holes from the previous round. The par 3 sixth hole is the one that has a bunker shaped like Mickey Mouse.

With only 14 holes in play, the rate was discounted from the normal rate. Nearly all the workers were the usual extremely friendly Disney people, but one guy in the pro shop was a little terse with our group. Not sure when the next chance to play Magnolia will be but might again down the road when the entire course is back open.

The major issue I had yesterday was that none of the starters were able to set the cart into handicap mode for me. I had so much trouble navigating the course in a non handicap mode cart. Had to try to remove the cart from restricted areas all round. Seems like someone should be proficient in setting that handicap mode for us that rely on having it set correctly. Otherwise the course and the hit deal was terrific.

For someone who was just out there to have fun , the pace of play was just right for my wife and I . We never felt rushed with the intervals between us and the other golfers was great .

This a very good course that rates at the top of “good” courses. They are working on holes 15, 16, 17 and 18. If after to reno it improves the course then it will be well worth the price. About 25-30% of the tees have many bare spots, but they are level and teeing of was not a problem. The fairways were very good and are kept green and cut short.

You very much need a discount to play this course until all the work is complete and all 18 holes are open. I will be happy to enjoy this course in the near future.
