Disney's Magnolia Golf Course

I got a chance to play Disney Magnolia late last may. Its very good course and we had fun playing it.

Price are too high for the course right now, besides that green speeds are perfect, and layout of the course is great, also a beautiful course.

Negative point: pin positions are terrible, the person that placed it probably never played a round of golf. It is in the middle of slopes making is impossible to stop close to the hole.

I played the Magnolia course where the back 9 has been recently renovated. My Hole19 app didn't even have the back 9 in its system. The course was cart path only which affected the pace of play for everyone. That said it took about 4:45 to complete 18 holes. I found the course to be in excellent condition. I believe that golfers of all abilities would enjoy this course.

Wide open course and greens excellent condition but not tour speed. Great to enjoy and still add a little challenge. Recommendation to play up one if you are a high handicap and 2nd to back if you are low 90s and greater. Overall nice course in excellent condition. Great food and drink prices! Courteous staff!

Got it on a Hot Deal, for the money great course. Fairways are a bit tired but the greens were true and a good speed

Course was in great shape, the newly redesigned holes 15-17 were challenging and still need a little time to grow in. Greens were quick and rolled true. It seems like tee times were a little too close together our group had too wait to hit shots all day but the gps system still said we finished ahead of pace. Overall a very nice course that is the most challenging of the three Disney courses

The Happiest place on earth doesn’t necessarily translate to the golf course! Great layout, friendly staff, fairways and greens were perfect. It was a bit windy and the course played hard. A great challenge and very fair but plays longer than the card! Would go back and play the next time I get down there!

Course was in great shape and I love the new holes on the back 9. However, we were 13 minutes ahead of pace at the turn and ended 23 minutes behind pace to finish the round, a total of 5 hours. We sat on the 16th hole tee box for 12 minutes waiting to tee off because the 4-some in front of us (all of whome rented clubs) had no self awareness. I'm all for growing the game, but you can't hit it 20 yards at a time and look in the woods for all 4 balls on every hole. The rangers were out and about, but nobody said a word. Pace alone would keep me from returning. Also, it's worth the $110 hot deal, but not worth $200+. If you are willing to pay $200 there are better options.

Had to leave on hole 15.. Thought we would be able to finish the round in 4-4.5 hours. We were wrong.

4.5 hours into the round, we were on the 15 tee box with 2 4somes waiting to tee off ahead of us. The course had a single marshal that was unable to keep pace up.

Short review - Over booked, over priced.

I rarely give 5 star but Magnolia deserves it. There is no weed on fairway nor the greens. Fairway is maintained like home carpet. I can tell they spend lots of effort on the course. Course layout is okay, but ppl are here for fun, not here to get frustrated. I will definitely go back.

The greens is what makes this course more difficult, slick and lots of slope.

Fairways are friendly, just have to watch where one hits the approach shots.

Certainly worth playing.
