About
The 18-hole Magnolia Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Magnolia Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 7516 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 141 and a 76.0 USGA rating. The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
Of all the Disney courses, the Magnolia supports a greater abundance of wildlife. At any given time, you're likely to see deer, osprey, alligators and turtles. A flock of wild turkeys has brought several tournaments to a standstill while they pecked along its fairways. The course features elevated tees and greens with wide and generous fairways graced by over 1,500 magnolia trees that bloom from late spring to mid-summer. Brightly colored crape myrtles and oleanders, along with beds of blue plumbego and seasonal flowers, add sparkle to an otherwise dense, natural forest.

Great course like the new fairways and greens towards the back
love the course greens in good condition and the speed.
It’s been better
The course was in ok condition. I’ve played better for the price. The gps in the carts where horrible you would make a shot to the front of the green because that’s what the cart said the flag was at only to get to the green to find out the flag was in the back. The new holes make no sense it’s like you played 1-13 on one course then left and played somewhere else for 4 holes then finished back on the course you started on for 18. Also there is a massive parking problem they wanted me to park right behind the 18th green so my truck would get hit by a 10 yard long approach shot so needless to say it took awhile to find a parking spot. Very disappointing
GPS in carts needs work
The course was good as expected at the price and where your playing but the gps in the carts had wrong pin placements making me think I hit good shot just to be on the wrong part of the green was frustrating. Don’t get me wrong I love the gps when it’s in the carts but update the pins please. Also I did not like the new holes they do not match the rest of the course it was like I was on a different course just weird.
Excellent course, slow pace of play
Course is in great shape. Greens are excellent. Pace of play always an issue with Disney - as it stands, they have an expected pace of play between 4:15 - 4:30, so expecting to get around quickly is out of the question. Took us 4:50, so be prepared for a long day!
Double check with the starter about tee box placement before teeing off - we moved up a tee to keep it reasonable for players in our group, only to find that the vast majority of the tees had been moved forward - played MUCH shorter than the yardage listed on the card - a full tee box on most of the holes.

Best course I have played to date. Staff was amazing and helpful. Definitely recommend.
Good Day at Disney
I got a chance to play Disney Magnolia late last may. Its very good course and we had fun playing it.
Worthy?
Price are too high for the course right now, besides that green speeds are perfect, and layout of the course is great, also a beautiful course.
Negative point: pin positions are terrible, the person that placed it probably never played a round of golf. It is in the middle of slopes making is impossible to stop close to the hole.

Disney Magnolia - A Gem in Orlando
I played the Magnolia course where the back 9 has been recently renovated. My Hole19 app didn't even have the back 9 in its system. The course was cart path only which affected the pace of play for everyone. That said it took about 4:45 to complete 18 holes. I found the course to be in excellent condition. I believe that golfers of all abilities would enjoy this course.
Highly recommend the course.
Great course for Vacation
Wide open course and greens excellent condition but not tour speed. Great to enjoy and still add a little challenge. Recommendation to play up one if you are a high handicap and 2nd to back if you are low 90s and greater. Overall nice course in excellent condition. Great food and drink prices! Courteous staff!
Best of the Disney courses
Got it on a Hot Deal, for the money great course. Fairways are a bit tired but the greens were true and a good speed
