About
The 18-hole Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 6840 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 134 and a 73.3 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
The natural Florida woodlands provide a stunning backdrop to one of America's premier resort courses. Architect, Joe Lee, designed the 6,870-yard Palm with elevated tees and greens. The key ingredient, of course, was the Florida palm and he made good use of nearly every variety for aesthetic and strategic purposes. Its fairways are crafted through a pine forest of mature, natural woodlands that includes moss-dappled oak, maple and cypress trees. Palmetto scrub fills the forest floor. It boasts of more than its share of water and sand with nine water holes and 94 bunkers.
This is a perfect choice for everything from a casual round to a large group outing.

Resort guests never play the proper tees
This course plays long folks. Lots of raised greens. Course was in good shape as usual!
Disney Delivers
Palm is a nice track in nice shape. 1 beef - the player assistant - aka the Marshall - didn't seem interested in policing pace of play. The group in front of us was 2 holes out of position all day. The Marshall should be obliging slow groups to allow faster groups to play through or at minimum pressing the slow play group to speed up.
Not a Disney-kind of experience
Staff was rude and not very helpful
Course is in very bad condition
Pace of play was unheard off
We were four foursomes stacked at one hole at certain point
Recommendation : skip this one
Unfortunately it had rained about an hour before the game so was cart path only and the course does not take water well - very soppy.
Sunday Round
Had a blast at the Palm course yesterday. The course is absolutely beautiful from tee box to green. I love how this course is surrounded by trees and nature and not houses. I highly recommend playing this course if you haven’t yet. The Evergreen bar on property is a nice spot to grab a beer at the bar before or after the round
Amazing Staff and Well Maintained Course
Visiting from Ontario… first time playing a Disney course and it did not disappoint! Every employee we encountered was awesome and even when we had a small mishap with one of the rental clubs, it was fixed immediately and they made sure we were having a good time. Beautiful course with tons of wildlife, made for a very memorable experience.

Great course, great staff
First time in Florida and wanted to play some golf, booked a round the same morning of a Sunday, no problem at all. Showed up to a really nice clubhouse, with helpful and friendly staff who all helped me find my way to the course.
Disney Visit
Good course. Greens were good but fairways were wet and soft all over. Worried about fat hits all day and chips were tough. Not worth the price. Even to play with Mickey.
