Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

Had a lot of fun playing this course. Staff were very professional. The starter was very helpful and the on-course ranger(Mark I think) was very understanding and extremely customer focused

Course was In pretty good condition but greens difficult to judge the pace Some fairways very wet due to the recent rain and cart path only, which was understandable

I have to give a shout out to the Ranger. We were a 4 ball and on the back 9 were being held up by a single (2 of the 4 ball I. Front of us had dropped 2 of the guys and then 1 of the 2 guys in front of us gave up after 11). The ranger came out to explain that the individual in front of us had a disability and was learning to play golf. He totally diffused us getting frustrated and proceed to help the gentleman with the disability so that he no longer he’s us up. Very impressive

First time here greens a little rough. Played with two local men had a good day dispite the rough greens. Enjoyable

It rained every afternoon so the course was soaked. Cart path only of course. Had a family with a five year old hitting balls with a toy putter making it extremely slow. Nothing against them but I couldn’t help moaning at the situation. Layout was good but due to my lack of distance it maid for a very long game in many ways.

This course has really gone down hill.

Granted central Florida has gotten a great deal of rain this summer but that is no excuse for some of the conditions at this course.

The greens were in terrible shape. A lot of dead native Florida grass all along the course. Crab grass all around the greens. Just terrible conditions all around. Thankful to get to play this course with a hot deal but if anyone is looking to play this outside of a hot deal I would advise not too. It is NOT worth the money.

At $80-$110 a round you can find much much better courses not far from Disney.

Course was wet (cart path only). Overall very nice course with difficult holes. Staff was awesome and very accommodating. Will definitely play again next time in I’m in Orlando

Great layout. Lots of water on front 9 but the back 9 makes up for it. Neat course!! Must play if you are visiting Disney

Really enjoyed the round. Only complaint was an overzealous course ranger who was hurrying us up unnecessarily. But he was just trying to carry out orders from the club house. Did not hinder the overall enjoyment of the experience and the golf. This was a bucket list course for me and it did not disappoint!

This course is very nice and the customer service is 10-star. The starter (Thomas) made us feel sO welcomed from the start. He was a very nice guy.

The course is in excellent condition for a Florida course in the summer. I only have one complaint(which is why I only gave 4 stars): the grass just off the fairway is so thick that it’s easy to lose a ball in areas where yoU would expect to easily find your ball. We lost a few of our balls and found a dozen other previously played balls within 5yds of the fairway, so I assume others had the same issue.

The course layout was very nice. It’s challenging but not unreasonable. I RECOMMEND THIS COURSE.

There was weather 10 miles away and we were never let on the course.

Complete waste of my day

Well it was wet.. Cart Path Only.. but still a great course, and Staff outstanding as always! Will be back!

Coarse conditions were great staff was friendly and layout of the course was enjoyable. The pace was slow and with the storm delay at the start and end I was only able to complete 10 holes. It was unfortunate that there was no credit for 9 holes. If I was given a rain check or something of this nature I would definitely return but seeing the golf competition this area has to offer, I probably will not. Food and service at bar and grill was outstanding but I came to play not to eat.

Booked a tee time for 5.40. Arrived at 5 when weather was a bit nasty. Close by lightning and a storm. Miserable head pro Mark and dark haired female assistant with glasses couldn’t have been more unfriendly and unhelpful if they tried. The answer to my question: “is it likely we’ll get out?” was “No clue!”.

Eventually, after demanding more clarity, the woman said it was down to Disney to lift the suspension not the course. We waited outside in the cart and bag drop area. The two guys there - one called Jo and another guy from Connecticut were awesome and put the guys in the pro shop to shame.

The really annoying thing was that the storm quickly passed and we were left waiting still while the skies were blue. To make it worse, if you had started your round but had come in temporarily, you were allowed to go back out and resume your round. However, if you hadn’t started your round you were not permitted to start. So we had to watch a bunch of guys jump back in their carts and go out to play while we were held back.

The guys in the pro shop - miserable Mark and his assistant - told us to wait outside and they would give us updates. But they never bothered to come out and check or provide any information, leaving it up to us to keep going back in every 10 minutes only to be told no news. Eventually we walked back in to the pro shop and asked for an update. They then said there’s no more play that day. Thanks for coming out to tell us guys!!

What a miserable example of customer service!

We’ve never played a Disney course until now. It was worth it. The course is manicured, has plenty of water, ice and rest rooms available. We were treated very well, and the carts are in great shape. The only bad part was that we waited for the group in front of us on most holes because they were hitting multiple balls ( and 2 of us are not very good, so we are slow). The course is fairly open with not a ton of obstacles, but some water (but not impossible to hit over). Overall, we loved it, and would play it again!!

Very fun course to play! Very cool layout.

Greens were unbelievably slow.

A few dead spots in the fairways too.
