Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

Really enjoyed the round. Only complaint was an overzealous course ranger who was hurrying us up unnecessarily. But he was just trying to carry out orders from the club house. Did not hinder the overall enjoyment of the experience and the golf. This was a bucket list course for me and it did not disappoint!

This course is very nice and the customer service is 10-star. The starter (Thomas) made us feel sO welcomed from the start. He was a very nice guy.

The course is in excellent condition for a Florida course in the summer. I only have one complaint(which is why I only gave 4 stars): the grass just off the fairway is so thick that it’s easy to lose a ball in areas where yoU would expect to easily find your ball. We lost a few of our balls and found a dozen other previously played balls within 5yds of the fairway, so I assume others had the same issue.

The course layout was very nice. It’s challenging but not unreasonable. I RECOMMEND THIS COURSE.

There was weather 10 miles away and we were never let on the course.

Complete waste of my day

Well it was wet.. Cart Path Only.. but still a great course, and Staff outstanding as always! Will be back!

Coarse conditions were great staff was friendly and layout of the course was enjoyable. The pace was slow and with the storm delay at the start and end I was only able to complete 10 holes. It was unfortunate that there was no credit for 9 holes. If I was given a rain check or something of this nature I would definitely return but seeing the golf competition this area has to offer, I probably will not. Food and service at bar and grill was outstanding but I came to play not to eat.

Booked a tee time for 5.40. Arrived at 5 when weather was a bit nasty. Close by lightning and a storm. Miserable head pro Mark and dark haired female assistant with glasses couldn’t have been more unfriendly and unhelpful if they tried. The answer to my question: “is it likely we’ll get out?” was “No clue!”.

Eventually, after demanding more clarity, the woman said it was down to Disney to lift the suspension not the course. We waited outside in the cart and bag drop area. The two guys there - one called Jo and another guy from Connecticut were awesome and put the guys in the pro shop to shame.

The really annoying thing was that the storm quickly passed and we were left waiting still while the skies were blue. To make it worse, if you had started your round but had come in temporarily, you were allowed to go back out and resume your round. However, if you hadn’t started your round you were not permitted to start. So we had to watch a bunch of guys jump back in their carts and go out to play while we were held back.

The guys in the pro shop - miserable Mark and his assistant - told us to wait outside and they would give us updates. But they never bothered to come out and check or provide any information, leaving it up to us to keep going back in every 10 minutes only to be told no news. Eventually we walked back in to the pro shop and asked for an update. They then said there’s no more play that day. Thanks for coming out to tell us guys!!

What a miserable example of customer service!

We’ve never played a Disney course until now. It was worth it. The course is manicured, has plenty of water, ice and rest rooms available. We were treated very well, and the carts are in great shape. The only bad part was that we waited for the group in front of us on most holes because they were hitting multiple balls ( and 2 of us are not very good, so we are slow). The course is fairly open with not a ton of obstacles, but some water (but not impossible to hit over). Overall, we loved it, and would play it again!!

Greens were unbelievably slow.

A few dead spots in the fairways too.

Besides the weather being hot, I know Mickey doesn't control that, the course was fun.

The starter was engaged and friendly, and got us going with a laugh.

Resort style golf, so pace of play is a little slower, expect to spend 4-5 hours here.

Pricey amenities, but it's Disney so no surprise.

Wide fairways for an easy drive.

Played it day after it rained, fairways were wet , cart path only, a lot of balls plugged in fairways. Nice course with reasonable and fair layout.

Disney LBV is one of my favorites. Course was in great shape minus the greens. Veery hairy and not rolling true. Also normally the staff is on top of things, but didn't offer the freee range balls or tell us they weren't on the range. Also, didn't offer to clean clubs after round, which I am always happy to tip for. Oh well could have been an off day, I love that track.

I like the difference between the front and back nine. The course had character, with unique holes and scenery. It could have drained a little better but the course was in solid condition.

Was only able to get in 13 holes due to lightning delay.

Nice fairways and bunkers. Super cool layout. Creams or an ETA of 10, seem to roll a bit slow. Overall, great experience

Staff was rude and less than helpful during a weather delay.

When I saw the practice green I was really apprehensive to even try and play, but the starter told us that it was just a little fungus because of all of the rain and said the rest of the course was not as bad. I respectfully disagree and the greens are slow and terrible. There were multiple brown spots all over which seemed to get worse on the back side. There were also multiple wash outs along the bunkers and the sides of the greens. The fairways were very soggy, but it’s well known that this course doesn’t drain as well as the other Disney Courses and they have had a lot of rain recently.

This course unfortunately does not reflect the reputation of a Disney Property at all!
