About
The Country Club of Mount Dora is a semi-private club located 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando in the hills of Lake County. The course was built by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design and opened in 1991 and features water on 16 of 18 holes, as well as raised greens and bunkers. The course is set on mature landscape and affords views of the nearby horse farms and lakes. The par-72 course features bermuda grass tees and greens, plus three tee boxes to choose from. The country club is also home to a clubhouse, swimming pool and four tennis courts onsite.

Worth the time to play!
We played here last year while visiting. The course was a bit wet from all the rain, would have been better if it were drier but still is a nice track with plenty of challenge.
Stay out of the trees
Good course just stay in the fairway and you’re ok some challenging par5 choose your shots carefully

The staff was incredible.
I was there playing with a group of friends. The staff all did a great job. The course was in very good shape. We will definitely play there again.

Pleasantly Surprised!
Can't believe I waited so long to play a course within 30 to 45 min drive. Well stocked Pro Shop, Well groomed coursed, Well stocked dining, and just a Great layout with tees to please any player in your group. Looking fwd to s return soon. Have fun on 13 as it is approximately numbered for a 5 Par that allows a taste of humble even from the White Tees. Have a Blast, Thank Yourself Later!!!

Challenging Course
Country Club of Mount Dora is a challenging course with numerous obstacles and surprises. The fairways are narrow and balls are lost easily . .We definitely plan to play this course again.

Worth a second visit
I hadn't played CC Mt Dora for years because of a bad experience with a ranger. I was invited by a friend this time.
The course was in good condition, but a bit soft. And the greens were an "adjustment." I'd been playing courses with hard greens running at 12-13 feet. CCMD was SOFT with greens at perhaps 7-8.
The only real ding I can give was that the good appearing bunkers were actually hardpan with just enough sand to disguise the hard clay below.

Always Enjoyable
The course is well maintained from tee to green. Challenging but fair layout. Not really a boring hole on the course. We drive from Deltona about 50 minutes, but it is worth the drive.

Great price, great practice.
Had a great time today. Was able to play by myself with 1245 tee time. No pressure, not busy at that time of day. Had a chance to work the ball around trees, ponds, and other ball catchers. Will definitely keep playing this course. One of my N W Orlando courses.
