About
The Country Club of Mount Dora is a semi-private club located 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando in the hills of Lake County. The course was built by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design and opened in 1991 and features water on 16 of 18 holes, as well as raised greens and bunkers. The course is set on mature landscape and affords views of the nearby horse farms and lakes. The par-72 course features bermuda grass tees and greens, plus three tee boxes to choose from. The country club is also home to a clubhouse, swimming pool and four tennis courts onsite.

Excellent Value
This is a well maintained and managed facility that the members should be very proud of. Hopefully the management will see fit to continue allowing public access and keep the price reasonable allowing retirees to be able to afford playing an excellent golf course.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing there and highly recommend it to all.

Good condition. Challenging
The course is always in good shape and is challenging. You will need to think your way around the course. Shot selection and shot making is a must. Many risk reward situations. Have a game plan when you come here and you can score.

Good place to go
Played as threesome. Pace was very good. The course is partly challenging, some holes have water in play. Tee boxes and fairways are good and well playable. Bunkers are OK. Greens have mediocre speed, but are mostly well maintained. Staffs are cordial. Overall it is a nice track and the hot deal of Golfnow.com offers a very good rate.

Tricky course
Very tight course with some tricky doglegs. Out of bounds everywhere.

Greens a little rough and pace of play very slow.
Greens where rough, and the pace of place was slow. Enjoyed the challenge, when the greens are right I would definitely play again.
Marshall needed to help the pace of play.

Friendly course
We were disappointed that only 9holes were open but that didn’t detract from an enjoyable round. the front 9 holes were closed for maintenance. Great course and a special mention to a member of the staff who took it on himself to come out to us with extra water drinks given the humidity. Thank you. We will be back to play the full 18.

This course is a great little course.Several tee boxes to play from.The greens are good and a nice speed.Plenty of trouble to get into.A long drive but we enjoy playing here once in a while.

Great Golf Course
Every time that I have played at the Mount Dora country Club it has been an excellent day. I have always enjoyed the course which is in great shape and of course the staff a great to deal with. If you get a chance you need to make the time and play Mount Dora country Club.

Great Golf Course
