The Country Club of Mount Dora is a semi-private club located 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando in the hills of Lake County. The course was built by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design and opened in 1991 and features water on 16 of 18 holes, as well as raised greens and bunkers. The course is set on mature landscape and affords views of the nearby horse farms and lakes. The par-72 course features bermuda grass tees and greens, plus three tee boxes to choose from. The country club is also home to a clubhouse, swimming pool and four tennis courts onsite.

The course seems to be burning out. Greens are hard and brown; bare. Fairways in similar condition. Tee boxes need work. I play this course frequently and this is the worst I've seen it.

The starter needs to be removed from his job he is not friendly and mean! I do not like being told to pair up with another golfer Especially when there is hardly anyone on the course. I have had bad experiences when pairing with others I do not know !!!!!!!

I golf hear more than 30 times a year!!! I never have this problem anywhere else!!!!!

Enjoyable course with interesting holes

This course was in good condition with fast true greens. Water on every hole although not always in play.

Staff helpful and friendly. Only downside is that there is no food available after 3pm. So if you’re playing in the afternoon, eat before you tee off! We’ll play here again. Recommend!

Nice Outing West of Lake Mary

Enjoyed very much my round with Larry who happens to be a local resident somewhere along on the side of the back nine holes. Fairways were in very good shape but the greens seemed to be on the slow side. Very pleasant layout with well positioned hazards. Practice area consists of a series of small islands with one small bunker to help you get ready for your game.

I live in Lake Mary and as much as I enjoy this golf course I just wish it was closer (40 minutes away)! Greens are excellent, fairways are decent and the rough can be kind of bare at times. Overall a nice track with some challenging holes due to the water and sharp doglegs.
