Good challenge
The layout provides a good challenge for all handicaps. Good course for the value. New golf carts! A few greens are suffering from the extreme heat but only spotty.
Better than working
Pretty good day, course was in good shape as always. Did get behind a slow playing guy who apparently thought he was the only one out there and wanted to hit 3 or 4 balls every hole. Other than that a good day.
Need a little work
Condition were very goood EXCEPT tee boxes and greens were need work. Large areas of dead grass/dirt. A shame as I really lie playing this course. Fairways were in good shape. Bunkers were hard. Should be groomed in the morning as we have been getting a lot of rain daily
Beware of the Jose’s poor service, especially if you get a hot deal….
The starter drove me to the third hole pair me with another golfer per request of the Manager (Jose). Once there the other golfer complained and made it clear that he wanted to play alone. This forced us back to the pro shop. Jose (the manager) was extremely rude and obnoxious. He insisted (loudly) that I must pay additional $$ for a cart. I tried to explain that it was the other gentleman (not me) who refused to pair. Jose was oblivious of my explanation choosing instead to rant about my paying a special rate through Golf Now. He eventually gave in and gave me a cart. Jose would not take the time to listen to the explanation from me nor seek his starter. He seemed more upset that I had a Hot Deal tee time. The course and play time was fair, but the pro shop was far below expectation….
Due to the unprofessional loud and menacing behavior - I will not be back !!!!
Beware of the Jose’s poor service, especially if you get a hot deal….
Great course for the money!
This course is not the most difficult however there are some challenging holes. The course is in great shape with only 1 green (under par) no pun intended. We play here at least every other week and allways enjoy it.
Great condition
Fairways and greens were in great shape. Folks in clubhouse super nice will be back.
Nice Challenge
Great course. Some beautiful holes. Lots of water to challenge your accuracy. Fun to play!
Great design
Love this course but some tee areas need attention.Cut down those trees on the Dog leg right 13th hole so I can go for the green on my 2nd shot there in my way.?Ha Ha! All I have to do is hit my Tee shot farther and the trees can stay!Ha Ha!
Greens Need Work
Overall the course was in decent shape and the pace of play was good, but the greens need some work. The greens rolled real slow and with a lot of grain. The only thing consistent about the roll of the putt was it’s inconsistency. Greens needed to be re-cut and rolled several times to get the speed up and the grain down.
Excellent greens
I have found one of my 3 favorite courses within an hour of Leesburg. I did think there were 2 ill advised pin placements on this day, but just loved hitting into, and putting these greens.
Everything was as advertised. Staff great. Great course. Would most certainly would book to play again!
Golf now
4 hour round nice greens good fairway conditions will play again
Improved conditions
Rain has helped the course. Spots that used to be brown are now green and greens are a touch softer.
