About
This 18 hole championship course opened in 1992 and was designed by Bill Amick. The shady fairways are bordered by huge sprawling oaks and towering pines, nestled in the shadows of Bulow and Tomoka State Parks in Ormond Beach. The course features five elevated tee boxes and fast, contoured, highly manicured greens adequately protected by traps. A unique experience for the golfer who enjoys not only a challenge but also extraordinary scenery.

Over priced
This is a nice course if you want to pay $50 +. Most tee boxes could be improved, the rough is rough, needs to be cut. I lost 7 balls and playing partners also lost many balls. The greens are another story: If you like putting on a sheet of ice. this is the place to play. I guess they can get this $ is because there are no nearby courses. I will not play again unless the price comes down.

Great job on cleaning up after the hurricane course is in very good shape.

Beautiful greens
Hadn't played here for several months. I have to say that the greens were as nice as any I have played in Volusia County. The fairways were in good condition but could stand a good trim. Some tee boxes could use some work but most were fine. Really good and interesting layout. Not a cheaper course to play but not awful. Course was very quiet for a Saturday and pace was good. Will be back.
Good shape
Considering a hurricane 2 weeks ago, they have done a great job of cleaning it up.
The Good and Bad
Overall nice layout, greens were fast and running nice. Biggest complaint is the tee boxes. It’s like you’re hitting out of the light ruff. They need to rip out the grass and put in proper tee boxes, such a black eye for an overall good course…
Best Greens
Greens are challenging and in exquisite condition. The greens are some of the best in Ceentral Florida.
The rough is tough!
Almost impossible to hit out of the rough. Spent a lot of time just trying to find our golf balls in the rough. The ball sinks down in the rough and is pretty impossible to see unless you are right on top of it. Greens were nice and course was overall in great condition. Pace was excellent. I had an 83 my brother had an 80. It was wet and windy today.
