About
This 18 hole championship course opened in 1992 and was designed by Bill Amick. The shady fairways are bordered by huge sprawling oaks and towering pines, nestled in the shadows of Bulow and Tomoka State Parks in Ormond Beach. The course features five elevated tee boxes and fast, contoured, highly manicured greens adequately protected by traps. A unique experience for the golfer who enjoys not only a challenge but also extraordinary scenery.

Great improvement
Greens are now some of the best in the area, fairways are great! Tee boxes are being worked.
Fantastic
This place has improved so much after they overhaul the greens. They are truly prefect except for some of the hole placement. But that usually changes. Fairways are prefect and the boxes are being worked on as I am writing this! It is a great place to enjoy a round of golf and the 19th is very nice as well.
Won’t return
Staff is the most unfriendly group I have ever encountered. I live 2 miles from the course and have supported it through all the changes over the last 3 years and sadly I won’t return.
From the moment I arrived I felt like I was inconveniencing the starter, pro shop attendant. Not the first time either. Due to my achesule I play later I the day, 230 was my time today. I have been greeted this way the lasts several times I have played here. I will not return or recommend to anyone that asks. It is a shame because I consider it my home course. Won’t happen again. I will support a course where I feel welcomed and that appreciates it’s customers. Never again.

We loved the wildlife on the course, wild Turkey and deer crossing. Greens In good condition.
Thirsty
Course in pretty good shape. Some temporary tee boxes as they are tying to fix the bad ones. Only real complaint there is no drinking water on your he whole course. They should let you know which they didn’t. In 95+ weather there should be water on the course.

This place is in great shape for the money. They seem to continue to make upgrades. Love it
Tee Boxes are a mess
The course in all is in great shape. They’re redoing the tee boxes and have you teeing off in the fairways. Everything else was great.
Tee Boxes Under Construction
Overall the course was very nice and in fantastic condition considering the large amount of rain the week before. We weren’t made aware of most of the tee boxes being under repair. But that aside, I’d definitely recommend the course to everyone.
Halifax is Underwhelming
Although most greens are in good condition, the rest of course is not. And the staff in the pro shop were also underwhelming. The rest of the staff was fine though. I would definitely not pay more than $20 to play this course again.
Ormond Beach Vacation Golf
Course was in excellent condition. The greens were great.
Worth the drive.
This course is about an hour away but has great staff, a challenging yet playable layout and some of the best club house food between Jacksonville and Daytona
