About
This 18 hole championship course opened in 1992 and was designed by Bill Amick. The shady fairways are bordered by huge sprawling oaks and towering pines, nestled in the shadows of Bulow and Tomoka State Parks in Ormond Beach. The course features five elevated tee boxes and fast, contoured, highly manicured greens adequately protected by traps. A unique experience for the golfer who enjoys not only a challenge but also extraordinary scenery.

Tee box
Tee boxes need to be sodded, fairways need water, the greens were good.. nice course
Maybe next season improvement?
Wow, I was really looking forward, but disappointed. I read threadbare, and so true! Tee boxes were dirt. No water coolers on course, or even lids for clubhouse cups, at 88 degrees? Put a key for the mens room on course, on the rusted cart key ring. Greens were ok, cart paths were rubble in many places. Twosome in front walking on 17th after cart went dead. Whoops!
No Title
My only complaint is the tee boxes need overhauling, but the greens are some of the best in the area, and the rest of the course is in good shape.
The tee boxes were in poor shape but the overall condition of the course was very good.
Course conditions
The greens were actually in very good shape, but the rest of the course not so much. The tee boxes are uneven and torn up, the fairway was thin with bare spots and the rough is patchy. This course used to be in much better condition.
Good Course Great potential
The Tee boxes are a complete mess. The fairways and greens have some bad spots. But all in all, a decent course. Pace was decent chipping and driving range was superb and the food was actually darn good. I would play again once the rates come down a touch.
Pretty decent
They have new greens which is always awesome and the fairway is in good shape. Can’t say the Same about the Tee boxes though. I know they’re going to work on that next but it’s pretty bad… I’m not blaming my bad drives on that but it definitely would help if it was repaired.
Getting there
After years of crappy greens, the greens are much improved. However the tee boxes are crap now. Sever have no grass and other were moved to the up tees…hopefully for repairs on the normal greens. I do enjoy the course but there still a lot of work to go.
An great day working on my game
I have played this course a few times last year. The staff is great. The greens are freshly redone and in good shape. The tee boxes need some work. Overall good afternoon of golf.
Greens and fairways
They were amazing compared to the last time I played the course., which was a bout a year ago! Teenbowes arensupposed to be redone over the summer. Been playing there off and on for the last 4 yrs. and have always loved the layout and the crew.
Tee box
Most tee boxes are in need of some serious care. No grass only dirt. Fairways need to be watered and grass planted. This course has started to slide backwards from previous years.. Also the cart guys say you can’t take the carts to the parking lot because it crosses county roads; however you have to cross country road 4 times while playing. Why?
Better than reviews
Reviews were not good for this course. I took a chance and found the conditions better than expected. The greens were recently redone and are very good. Fairways had more grass than reviews said. Tees need work but as long as the greens are good it makes up for the tees.

After playing 18 holes in 90°, we didn't see a cart girl once. I highly recommend you bring your own beverages and a cooler.
Off season issues
This course was in pristine shape during snowbird season, as soon as it slowed down a little the weeds are overtaking the fairways and the Tee Boxes are bare of grass. The greens are still amazing since they have just been redone recently. Overall the course is still a good round and the staff plus 19th hole tavern is great. I hope they get a handle on the course for the summer because I love playing this course.
I’ll Play there again, for sure!
Okay first I’m about a 16 to 20 hcp golfer I tell you this so you will understand my opinion of the course. The cost is ok for what you get and for what’s available near by. The staff could have been nicer but maybe it was a bad day and they rather been playing and not working. You have to drop your clubs off and tip the dude. No biggie. Teed off right on schedule. Course has no water to lose your ball in. And the fairways are wide and in great shape. Lots of sand traps but I didn’t find a single one. The greens were nice. Probably the only negative we’re the tee boxes we’re needing some care. But over all. Really enjoyed the course. Had a great day. And yes, I plan on playing there again
Greens great, rest of Course was shabby
It felt strange to play a course where the greens were great but fairways, rough and tees were very shabby. Maybe there is a problem with the sprinkler system? However, the course needs some work, especially in cutting the grass!
